I don't understand what's going on. Why is he calling management and saying that they need to speak now? As much as I know that its the right thing to walk away I can't. I want to know what he has to talk about.
"Honey is everything ok? Do you want to talk about it?" I heard my mom ask from behind me.
"SHHH! I'm trying to hear something." I say back.
"What did she tell you? ......... Why didn't you call me and make sure I was really doing it? ........ So you believed her?! ......... No! .......... Whatever we'll talk tomorrow!" Liam hung up and started to stand up. He walked towards the door and I backed away. Everything was quiet for a few seconds and then I heard his footsteps move slowly down the hallway.
As soon as I was sure he was gone I leaned my back against the door and slid down putting my head in my hands. I thought I was confused before but now I'm way beyond that!
"Are you sure you're ok?" My mom asked again.
"Yea. I'm going to go to bed." I said standing up and slowly walking to the hotel bed my mom and I were sharing.

The next morning I was the first one awake. I went to the bathroom and then grabbed my shoes. I didn't want to order room service because I didn't want to wake anyone, so I decided I would go downstairs and eat. I grabbed my room key and then quietly exited the room. I turned around after I closed the door and saw Liam sitting on the floor looking up at me with his phone in his hand.
"Liam!?!?!"
"Hey Soph." He said. He looked like he hasn't slept at all.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him still in shock to find him in the middle of the hallway.
"Well I know you said you'd call me but I really wanted to make things right so I stayed out here all night hoping to be able to talk to you. Please just give me one more chance to explain?" He looked at me pleadingly.
"Fine." I said. I sat down next to him and waited for him to start talking.
"First off, I'm really sorry. I didn't know she was going to just show up there. I didn't even know why she came. I haven't spoken to her since I first met you. After you left I asked her why she came and she told me that her and I were together. Se told me that she went and told management that I picked Danielle. I don't know how she even found out about that whole thing though. I told her off and made her leave. Then I started to drive here to talk to you and that's when I seen your mum. Then when you shut the door in my face I called management. After I was done talking with them I went home and tried to go to sleep. I realized that I couldn't go to sleep because I kept thinking about you and everything that happened. So I came back here and tried to sleep as much as I could hoping you would sit here and listen to me. I'm supposed to have a meeting with Simon later today to talk about everything and clear things up. Danielle and I aren't together and that's final. Please tell me you believe me and you forgive me." He said. It seemed like he didn't even take a breath.
"I don't know Liam. How am I supposed to know that this is the truth?" I asked him.
"If you don't believe me then come to the meeting with me. You can see that I'm being one hundred percent truthful right now. I really like you Sophie. I don't want to loose you." He said grabbing my hand.
"I'll go with you to the meeting, but even if you are telling the truth and Danielle just tried to split us up I think we should stay as friends. I think we should go on a couple more dates and hang out a little more before we go to the whole boyfriend girlfriend thing." I said not looking up to meet his eyes. I know if I take one look into his eyes and see the sadness and the hope that I will change my mind, I will. I can't do that. I have to make sure things go slower this time.
