*** Sophie's P.O.V. ***
Can it be a dream? Can I just pretend it was a dream? All I remember before everything went black was Liam and I getting into a fight. Then I ran out into a sea of fans. Then it was all over.
I woke up earlier this morning and there wasn't anyone in my hospital room. I tried to wait up but I fell asleep again before I could talk to anyone. Now I'm laying here in the bed with my eyes closed waiting for someone to come in. Suddenly I heard the door open but I haven't opened my eyes yet.
"She's asleep now. The doctor will be in soon to check on her and see how she's doing. You can visit with her until then." I heard a lady say. I assume a nurse.
"Thank you." This was a mans voice. I'm assuming Liam. I heard him walk across the room and sit next to my bed. After a couple seconds of silence I heard him say something, but he said it too quiet for me to hear.
"I'm so sorry Sophie. I never meant for any of this to happen. I wish I could go back and prevent it, but I can't. I'm so so so sorry." That's all he said before he grabbed my hand and put his head down on the bed. I opened my eyes to see him shaking from his sobs. I slowly picked up my other hand and ran it through his hair. That's when he looked up at me and I saw the tears running down his cheeks.
"Don't.....be..sorry." I struggled to say. "It's......not your.....fault." He started to cry again as he shook his head.
"It is." I shook my head in protest.
"No. It's...no ones.....fault." He just kissed my hand and held on to me for dear life. I closed my eyes and felt a tear run down my cheek. It wasn't long before it was wiped away. I opened my eyes to see Liam looking at me. Before he could say anything else the door opened and in walked a man. I'm assuming he is the doctor.
"Hello Miss Prescott. How are you feeling?" The doctor asked.
"Tired." That was all I could manage to get out.
"That's understandable. You took a pretty rough blow." He said.
"What....happened?" I asked.
"You were beaten pretty bad by a group of One Direction fans. You have a broken rib and a minor concussion. Nothing too serious." The doctor responded.
"Do you know when she'll be released?" Liam asked.
"In a few days. We just have to make sure her rib is healing ok. Once we know that then we can release her, but she'll still have to take it easy for a while because of the concussion." The doctor responded. Liam just nodded his head.
"Can I still stay here with her for a while longer?" Liam asked.
"Of course. You can stay until visiting hours are up." The doctor responded. "I'll be back later to check in you again." The doctor said before he left the room.
There was a moment of silence and ten Liam said, "Michelle called your mom and she's on her way here now."
I just nodded my head in response and then we sat there in silence for a few minutes.
"We pushed the tour back." Liam said, breaking the silence.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you're here. We needed to make sure you were ok and we need to let this whole thing settle for a little while." Liam said.
"You...shouldn't have..done..that." I said. It's still a little struggle to talk but not as much.
"Yes I should have. I couldn't just leave for rehearsals with you in the hospital." He protested.
