THIRD PERSON POV
STARCOURT MALL, HAWKINS INDIANA
The Hawkins group filled the adults in on what had transpired.
"Okay, people," Murray ran in, waving a piece of paper. "Tunnels. Underground tunnels. I've made a map." Murray placed the map on the table.
"So, you're just gonna waltz in there like it's Commy Disneyland or something?" Erica crossed her arms.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" Murray looked up.
"Erica Sinclair. Who are you?"
"Murray... Bauman."
Erica scoffed. "Listen, Mr. Bunman, I'm not trying to tell you how to do things, but I've been down in that shithole for 24 hours. And, with all due respect, you do what this man tells you, you're all gonna die."
"I'm sorry, why is this 4-year-old speaking to me?"
"Um, I'm 10, you bald bastard!"
Lucas was shocked. "E-Erica!"
"Just the facts!"

It was decided. Hopper, Joyce, and Murray would be going down into the underground tunnels, and the kids and teens would be staying up, and getting to safety. Steve and Robin would be driving Erica and Dustin to go contact the adults from Cerebro. Eleven was trying to use her powers, that were supposedly gone. Felix walked over to her, seeing that she was struggling to crush the can.
"Hey... they'll come back, I promise." Felix said, placing his hand on hers.
"Are you sure?" She looked at Felix, a look of fear, and possible sadness in her eyes.
He nodded. "I promise. They will, just have faith, and patience."
She looked at him with a sad smile. "Thank you, Felix."
Mike walked over to them. "Okay, we're going to leave now. Jonathan and Nancy are getting the car ready."
Eleven put her arms over Mike and Felix's shoulders, trying not to put pressure on her leg. They made it, and they were getting in the car. Nancy tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start. Jonathan asked all the dumb questions, like was there gas, or if she was trying hard enough.
"Yes, Jonathan! It just won't start." Nancy hit the steering wheel. They all looked in fear, as a crazy car was driving at top speed towards them. Felix noticed that it was Billy who had taken the wheel. Nancy shouted for the kids to go back to the mall. Eleven put her arms over the boys' shoulders again, and they went though the back. Max went with them. They heard a crash. Steve had crashed into Billy's car. They heard a crash from inside the mall. Was the Mind Flayer here?
Max pressed the button to close the automatic gate. Billy had made it through anyway. Felix tried using his powers on Billy, but he got shoved into the wall, forehead first, causing him to pass out. Mike and El were next.
"Billy, it's Max, this isn't you!" Max pleaded with her step-brother. "You don't have to do this!"
Billy threw her against the wall next. He went over to Felix, effortlessly lifting him up. Felix opened his eyes. He was thrown over Billy's shoulder. Felix began to squirm.
"Let me go, asshole!" Billy ended up throwing him to the ground in front of the Mind Flayer. Felix tried crawling away, only to get pulled back by Billy.
