~ Will's POV ~

I woke up, cuddled up against someone. I looked, and my hand was splayed across Felix's stomach, and my head was resting on his shoulder. His arm was around my shoulders, and he was still sleeping. I smiled, and blushed, as I stared at him sleeping. I carefully tried to move, only to be pulled back against him. I wrapped my arm further across his stomach, feeling his abs underneath his loose, near-translucent black t-shirt. His eyes fluttered open.

His left hand slipped over my right, which was on his stomach. "Someone got pretty comfortable, eh?"

I smiled, recoiling my hand. He grabbed it, pulling it back to him. My face was burning at this point. "U-Um, yeah, I guess so..."

He smirked at me. "Mhm..." He glanced at Mike, who was smirking a little at Felix.

We had all been talking about whether we were getting close to finding Nina, or whether Nina was a building, but Argyle didn't think so.

"So... since when did we decide that Nina was a physical building, and not, like, a small woman? Sounds like a small woman to me." Argyle sighed, turning back around.

Felix grabbed the map. "We should be almost at the coordinates."

We drove a little longer, until Felix said we were there.

"It's just the middle of nowhere..." Mike sighed, as we got out of the van. Argyle was off shouting for Nina, when he called us over.

"Yo, dudes!" We ran to him. "These are no regular tracks. These are, like, military truck tracks. Why don't we follow them?" We agreed, and began driving.

"That's El!" Felix shouted. "I have to go help her." He jumped out of the car, and ran for Eleven. We all screamed, telling him to stop. We eventually all decided to get out, and follow.

"El!" Felix gave her a hug once the helicopter had crashed.

"I've missed you!" She hugged him, and then hugged Mike and me. Her shock collar released, causing Felix and El to look over. It was Dr. Brenner.

~ Felix's POV ~

Eleven gestured for me to follow her. I couldn't believe he was still alive.

"Oh, Four... I'm so glad to see you..." He was barely clinging to life.

"Um, El, could you give us a sec?" I looked at her, and she nodded.

Brenner smiled at me. "I've missed you..."

"Can't say the same..." I stared at him.

He pointed to a scar on his eye. "Now we're matching."

I glared. "At least you can see out of it."

He changed the subject. "Four... don't leave me here."

I sighed. "I'm going to get you back for all that happened those years ago. I'm going to put you out of your misery..." I brought my hand up into a curved position.

"Wait! Before you do... Henry... or, Peter, is going to destroy everyone." I nodded, lifting my hand back up. The right side of my lip pulled up into a smirk, as he choked. His face went red, as he struggled for air. Eventually, he went limp. I got up, walking back to the van. My friends stared at me, as a tear fell from my eye. I realized what I had done. Why am I like this?

~~~~~~~~
I was moved from the seat, to the floor. I gave El my seat, so now I resided on the floor of the van. Will soothingly touched my shoulder. I looked away, tears slowly slipping down my cheeks.
"Are you scared of me?" I used my telepathy to contact Will. I looked at him, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Of course not... nothing you could do would ever make me scared of you..." He reached his hand out, and I placed mine gently in his.
"You're the bestest friend I've ever had, you know that, Will?" I smiled at him through the tears.
His bottom lip quivered, as he smiled. "You're pretty great, too. More than great, actually. You're fantastic..."
I turned, and leaned my head back on his lap. I looked up at him, and his hazel eyes were full of adoration. He ran his gentle hands through my curls, making my eyes close.
When I next woke up, we were approaching a gas station. We all got out, and El told us we needed to get to Hawkins tonight.
Jonathan shook his head. "There's no way we would make it in time."
She thought for a moment. "I have another way. So, Vecna kills through his mind. I can piggyback from Max's mind, and defend her from Vecna."
I nodded. "That could work. I could also join you! But, there's one thing... El needs a sensory deprivation tank, or a bathtub in order to use her powers for long periods of time. We'd need salt... lots of it."
Argyle smiled. "I know where we could get some salt. 600 lbs of it, at least."
"You know where to find 600 lbs of salt?" Mike's face was full of disbelief.
Argyle nodded. "Mhm. Let's go! This mind fight is on!"
