THIRD PERSON POV

HENDERSON HOUSEHOLD, HAWKINS INDIANA

Felix walked down the driveway, going to open up the mail box. His brown curls had grown longer, and they covered his eyes. He brushed them back with his fingers, as he opened the mailbox. Inside, it consisted of around six letters, most of which were either junk mail, for his mom, or bills.  However, one was addressed to him. He smiled, knowing it was probably from Will.

He placed the mail onto the table, bringing the letter for him into his bedroom. He sat on the bed, and carefully, yet quickly, opened the envelope. He unfolded the crisp paper, and began to read.

Dear, Felix,

Words aren't enough to explain how excited I am for you to get to California. It's been way too long since I've seen you last, and I can't wait to hangout with you again.

Things here have been going pretty okay. Mom's gotten a new job, selling encyclopedias, and she's been able to work from home. I do think that Hopper's death has taken a toll on both her, and El, but they're both troopers. El hasn't been having a great time at school... She'd probably hate that I'm telling you this, but she has been getting bullied, and hasn't made many friends... if any at all. Whatever you do, don't tell her that I told you. She'd definitely yell at me.

Jonathan has made a new friend, his name is Argyle. When you meet him, he might not have... much of a filter, so take what he says with a grain of salt, cause chances are, he's high.

I've been focusing on my art, and I've improved a lot since we've last seen each other. I can't wait to see you soon, and Mike as well. But... you especially... El and I have lots of stuff planned to do. It was mainly El's idea, but I had a bit of a say in it.

I can't wait to see you soon! I hope all is well in Hawkins. Say hi to our friends for me!

From, Will.

Felix smiled at the letter. Felix squinted at the letter. At the end, it looked as though he had scribbled out the word 'love', and replaced it with 'from'. A light blush appeared on his cheeks. He was angry about the bullying towards Eleven. He knew he'd have to do something about it when he got there. He jumped, as a knock sounded on his door.

"Felix, it's time to leave for school, you don't wanna be late!" My mom's voice was heard.

"Okay, I'll be right there." His accent was still strong. He got a lot of comments on it; negative, and positive. If they were negative, he'd usually end up cussing them out in Russian, and then walk away. He briefly heard his brother yell something about being naked, and he shook his head. He slung his bag over his shoulder, and brought his bike out into the driveway, waiting for his brother.

He smirked at his brother. "Talking to Suzie again?"

"Not a word about it," he ended up smirking now. "So, you excited to see your boyfriend tomorrow?"

Felix blushed, and started pedalling. "He's not my boyfriend... and yes... I am." Felix had told Dustin about being gay, and Dustin had been nothing but supportive. He really appreciated his brother's support. He actually also ended up telling Will about his sexuality via mail, and he also supported. A lot.

"Ehhh, I think you'd better tell him that." Dustin winked.

"Shut up, dipshit!" Even though they got along, all brothers—siblings, for that matter—argued.

WILL'S POV

BYERS HOUSEHOLD, LENORA CALIFORNIA

El and I hopped into the back of Argyle's van, that smelled of pizza and weed. I held my poster board on my lap, and El held her diorama. I leaned my head on the window, thinking about how I would get to see Felix tomorrow. I hadn't seen him in a very long time, and I couldn't wait to go to the airport. It was the last day of school before spring break, and El kept going on about seeing Mike. I kept my feelings private.

When we got to school, we began walking to Mrs. Gracie's class. We would be doing presentations, and El was nervous. Not to say that I wasn't, but I had done presentations in the past. El waved at a group of girls on the way, but they gave her a judgemental look. I gave her a sympathetic look. We took our seats, and waited for Mrs. Gracie.

~~~
Angela finished her presentation, receiving lots of praise from Mrs. Gracie, and her friends.
"Okay! Let's see who will be going up next," Mrs. Gracie stuck her hand into the bowl, and pulled out a slip of paper. "Jane!" Her face went pale, as she slowly stood up. I nodded at her, and she walked to the front.
"Hi," she shuffled nervously. "For my project... I... I chose my dad. And, I made a dee-roy-ama—"
"More like, 'diarrhea'!" One of her bullies yelled, causing his friends, and the rest of the class, to laugh. El gave a sarcastic smile.
She pulled the figure of Hopper out of the box. "This is my dad. His name is Hopper. And this is a squirrel. His name is Mr. Fibbly. This is our cabin. It has an alarm, that my dad made. I was never scared... be-because..." Eleven turned to Mrs. Gracie as Angela slowly raised her hand.
"Angela, let's save questions until the end of Jane's presentation."
"I'm sorry, I'm just confused. I thought this was supposed to be about... famous people?"
El defended herself quickly. "My dad is famous. H-He saved lots of lives... in a mall fire. He was a hero... for people... And he was my hero, too." El teared up, causing my eyes to burn a little.
"I'm so sorry, Mrs. Gracie, I just wanted clarity on the rules of the assignment!" Angela sweetly smiled at the teacher.
"Well, technically, you are correct... but, Jane has decided to do her father... so... please continue, Jane!"
FELIX'S POV
HAWKINS HIGH, HAWKINS INDIANA
I walked through the cafeteria, lunch tray in hands. I was heading to sit with the Hellfire Club, a group of "freaks", who played D&D. Eddie Munson was the leader of Hellfire, and I thought he was the absolute coolest. He played guitar, listened to metal, and had super cool style. As I walked faster, a foot came out in front of my feet, causing me to trip, and spill my lunch on the group. I groaned, as my chin hit the tiled floor.
"Oops, sorry, scarface. I didn't mean for that to happen." Jason snickered, his friends laughing as well.
"Fuck off, Jason, I've told you before." I sighed, picking up the food that dropped. I moved my hair over my eyes, trying to hide the scar on my eye.
"Oooh, sounds like he's a big boy now, cussing and everything!" Jason grabbed a fistful of my sweater, pulling me up. "Has the freak grown a pair?"
"I told you to fuck off!" I shoved him, so he was on the ground. I almost used my powers on him, but I didn't want to injure him too bad. Until, he got up, and punched me in the lips. I stepped back, and lightly pushed him away with my powers. The Hellfire Club watched, as I licked my lip and ran to the bathroom.
