-Drei's POV-

"Drei...", I responded. Actually, it was a late response which I wished she didn't notice that I was struck. I received her hand shake. Geez, her hand was terribly soft that I almost forgot to release it from shaking.

Geez, her looks captivated my sight. She's different from any girls I met in London. There's something in her that even my hypothalamus can't explain. I guess my stay here would be great.

Is this a start of something new? Well, let's see.

"Ahemm..", interrupted by the guidance counselor. "Mr. Foster, this is Ms. Garcia – your student guide. Starting today she will accompany you to every corner of the school. She will tell you everything...."

"Which means?", I asked with humor in my eyes. the sarcasm in me suddenly disappeared in a moment.

"She will assist you to every need that you'll be encountering while you stay here. From the first hour in the morning until dismissal in the afternoon...", added by the guidance counselor, "...for now, Ms. Garcia will accompany you to your dormitory."

"That's great. Thank you", I went out with a smile in my face that I didn't notice that Ms. Garcia stayed inside the office.

-Angie's POV-

Papalabas na sana ako when Mrs. De Jesus called my attention.

"Wait Ms. Garcia. We are counting on you. What would be the feedback of Mr. Foster about your treatment to him would reflect the school itself. So, do the best that you can which I know you can do", instructed Mrs. De Jesus.

"Leave it to me ma'am", I confidently assured my mentor with a fake smile because deep inside I was not happy. Not because of my new task but because I will be with this foreign boy from nowhere.

Grrr. It boils my blood in my veins. May pa-smile pang nalalaman ang mokong. Edi wow ulit. Akala niya siguro makukuha niya ako sa pa-tweetums niya. Excuse me, hindi siya gwapo at wala siyang appeal for me.

I went out the office bringing this burden na mas mabigat pa ata sa luggage ko. Oops, naghihintay nga pala siya sa labas and I don't want that he will give me a bad impression. Remember, first impression lasts. So, plastic-an mode muna ako.

Three words - I HATE THIS.

****

We went directly to the boy's dormitory (my hated place ever!!!) to accompany him to where he will stay. We passed by the covered walk when I noticed something.

Tahimik ang mokong. Well, it's not my business. Paki-alam ko, diba?

Kaya lang, he's my obligation now and whatever he will tell my adviser or the guidance counselor, eh, siguradong patay ako. I don't want to wreck my reputation with this simple problem. Kaya ko namang makipag-platic-an sa kanya for three months. What will I do? Hmhm. I will do whatever is due.

-Drei's POV-

Why is she so serious? Was she offended of my action earlier? Should I apologize? I don't want her to think that I'm stupid enough not to apologize. I want to release all the butterflies flying in my stomach. But how? Now, I'm stuck.

-Angie's POV-

Ba't hindi na siya nagsasalita? Oh my g...na-sense na kaya niya 'bout my boys' allergy. Hindi pwede baka i-report niya ako sa school. Oh my gosh...for my reputation's sake, I'll do the first move.

"Are you..." I cut kasi sabay kaming nagtanong.

Nag-smile siya at halatang nag-blush. What?! Is that a blush o naiinitan lang siya. I don't want to be assuming. And besides, the hell I care if he blushed? Duh!

"...are you okay??", I asked pretending na hindi napansin ang pag-blushed ni mokong.

"Yah...ah...I'm fine". He said with shaking voice. Halatang nahihiya kasi yumuko siya nang konti. He blushed again.

"Just let me know if you want to know or you need something, okay? Don't be shy or hesitate perhaps".

Ano daw? Ano'ng lumabas sa bibig ko? Tama bang lumabas sa bunganga ko. Hindi ako makapaniwala that I blurted those words from my mouth. Yuck. Masyadong maarte.

"Yah. Thank you. You don't need to do this, I supposed", he solemnly apologized.

Tama! It's not my obligation. Pero dahil my teachers gave it to me, eh, wala akong magagawa.

"No, it's okay. I'll be honored to do this". Plastic mode again. "Oh by the way, we're already in the boys' dormitory. Proceed to Room #23. Here's your key."

When he started to move upstairs he asked, "Aren't you going with me?"

"Nope, I have a pho...", I stopped blurting out the word instead "...I have a volleyball practice. If you want to watch, just proceed to the volleyball court. Two blocks to the right of the dorm. I'll be waiting there. See yah".

"Wait."

Before he could actually ask about my name, I answered him. As if naman marunong akong manghula.

"Just call me Angie. Should I call you...."

"Drei", he answered with a simple smile.

"I'll go ahead...Drei", with confused gesture from my face. I hoped he didn't notice it.

Gosh. Nakahinga narin nang maluwag. Nakatakas na rin. Oopps, I'm already late with my volleyball practice.

-Drei's POV-

I hope she's not thinking badly about me. I was just very shy about what happened earlier in the office. I should be careful by now to avoid offending her. Well, my first day is not yet over.

Before I forgot, she invited me to watch her in the practice. That sounds fun. I should do my stuff quick. I don't want to miss watching her. Sigh.

"Drei, don't do any stupidity this time", I whispered while making myself ready to go downstairs.
