-Angie's POV-

OMG. I was already late in our practice. I saw that our teacher-coach started the warm-up when I arrived at the gym. I went directly to my locker to change (separate lockers are given to the team captains). I made sure that I would change as fast as I could. Ano ba yan, team captain pero late. C'mon, you knew the reason why.

Just in time that I finished changing, voices caught my attention from the dressing area.

"Ang gwapo nya, diba?", said the first voice with a feminine giggle.

"Tama ka nga. I bet he will be the new campus crush", seconded the other voice.

"Nakita niyo ba siya kanina. He's with Angie na", worriedly said by the third voice.

"Well, for sure, hindi naman siya papansinin ni Angie. For we all know, she has phobia with the boys. And besides, she's too busy to take it seriously", added by the first voice.

"So it means...?", cut by other two voices.

"AHHHH", giggled together by the three girls.

Wow ha. New campus' crush?! Yung mokong na yun. Wala na talagang mga tastes ang mga babaeng 'to. I pity them.

I almost forgot I have my practice pa pala. I went directly to the area to catch up for the last-hour warm-up.

When I reached the area, I gave a signal to our teacher-coach that I'm apologizing for being late. She gave me the signal to join with the group.

I went directly to where my two best friends were.

"Let me guess why you're late", Shandy asked me with a malicious smile.

"What's with that smile?", I frown because I have a clue (or knew) what she meant.

"And, what's with that face?", asked by Pauline while smiling at me.

"Girls, stop it", I suggested while doing the warm-up routine.

"O...M...G...", chorused by Shandy and Pauline.

"She knew what we meant", teased by Pauline.

"Confirmed best?!", Shandy said while looking at me.

I kept silent. Baka lumaki pa ang storyline. I knew my friends well. The more I make myself defensive, the more they will dig and asked. Daig pa ang mga taga-NBI.

I just concentrated to the warm up and pretending as if I didn't hear anything.

Our teacher-coach whistled for the next warm-up routine. We formed two lines facing one another. Shandy held and tossed the ball towards me.
