"N-Nnghh..." You groan as you slowly open your eyes.
"I'm... Alive?" You question.
"Y/N! Master Jean! Y/N is awake!" You hear a familiar voice call.
Your vision slowly adjusted as your friends surrounds you.
"Y/N, how are you feeling?" Jean ask.
"Master Jean? Lisa-san? Paimon and Aether? And Barbara? W-What's going on?" You ask.
"Barbara, how's she doing?" Jean ask.
"Y/N-chan will be fine. Y/N-chan, please don't ever scare us again!" Says Barbara.
You wreck your head as you tried looking through your memories. And that's when you remembered.
"Sorry" You said.
"We'll leave you to rest. I don't know what you're going through but please don't do it again. You gave Paimon and Barbara a fright" says Jean.
Your friends were about to leave when you called Aether and Paimon to stay.
"What's wrong Y/N?" Paimon ask.
"What happened? Who found me?" You ask.
"Rosaria saved you. She said she saw you on top on the Anemo Archon's statue and you looked like you wanted to jump" says Paimon and you sigh.
"None of you told Albedo right?" You ask.
"We wanted to but he was nowhere to be found" says Paimon and you groan.
"Is something a matter?" Aether ask.
"Umm... You two know about Albedo's twin brother right?" You ask softly.
"You mean Durin?" Paimon ask and you nod.
"Something about Durin scares me..." You cried out.
"We're here to listen" says Aether.
"H-How do you... Tell Albedo and Durin apart?" You ask softly.
"Their neck. Albedo has a mark on his neck, Durin doesn't" says Aether as he points to his own neck.
"Oh gosh... Why didn't I notice?" You cried as you buried your face in your hands.
"What happen exactly?" Paimon ask and you sigh as you tell the two of your experience.
"Albedo is dead" You said and their eyes widen.
"What?" Aether ask, not believing what you said. You sigh and slowly tell them.
It happened about three months ago. You were heading up to Dragonspine to meet your boyfriend of 2 months, Albedo. You arrive at his work station and saw him looking at his notes on the noticeboard. Or at least... You thought it was Albedo.
"Albedo! Sorry I'm late! I brought bento!" You exclaim.
"Ah Y/N. Thanks... And sorry for the trouble" says 'Albedo'.
"I made these for ya. Klee told me how you've been cooped up here. You should really take care of yourself" You said.
"Thanks... Y/N" says 'Albedo' and you smile.
Little did you know that the 'Albedo' you met that day was in fact Durin, Albedo's twin brother. Durin had a twisted personality, which is why Albedo was not willing to let anyone know about him, other than the fact that Aether and Paimon knew about him.
Ever since Durin met you by accident, he has been posing as his younger brother just to hang out with you and Albedo couldn't do anything about it. A month after you met Durin (still thinking it is Albedo), Durin suddenly had a thought.
Durin fell for you just as Albedo did. He wanted you all to himself. Everytime you return to Mondstadt, Durin would secretly follow you back. Each time he sees you talking to any guys at all, he had the urge of wanting to kill him. He was extremely jealous.
Eventually, you begin to notice the strange behaviour 'Albedo' had. You notice 'Albedo' being extremely possessive with you which is starting to scare you. Because the real Albedo trusts you enough but this 'Albedo' was too possessive.
When Durin attempted to rape you after you got drunk, it was when you finally found out that he is Albedo's older twin brother. If Albedo hadn't come you don't know what you would do. But the nightmare didn't stop there.
"AHHHH!!!!" You scream as you cried at the horrific scene in front of you.
"Albedo!!" You cried as you run towards him.
But he is dead. No sign of breathing. His body was ice cold.
"No... Albedo... Please... Wake up!" You cried as you hug his body close to you. You heard footsteps behind you and when you turn around, it was Durin.
Durin knock you out and he had trap you within a hidden place in Dragonspine. It was pure torture. You had no evidence that Durin killed Albedo but you were afraid. Durin almost never left your side. It was scary.
It wasn't until when Durin had 'business' to attend that you manage to escape. You wanted to escape. You went back to Mondstadt at midnight and climb up to the Anemo Archon's palm and cried for Albedo. When you felt the night breeze, you jumped.
"I'm scared... What if Durin comes back?" You ask.
"I-I can't believe this... Did Durin actually... K-Killed Albedo?" Paimon ask.
"I got no evidence... But I don't want to stay here" You said.
"There is one place where Durin won't find you" says Aether.
The next day, you waited by the port for Aether and Paimon. He said he would take you to Inazuma which is across the ocean. He says that Durin shouldn't be able to follow you.
"Where is Aether and Paimon? They are usually on time" You said as you keep walking back and forth.
"They won't be coming Y/N" Your eyes widen as your hair stand at its end.
"D-Durin! W-What do you mean?!" You ask as you take several steps away from him.
"With them gone, no one will be able to come in our way" says Durin as he takes a few steps towards you.
"W-What did you do to them?!" You cried out but the next thing, you felt your world became blurry.
'W-What is going on?!'
"Shh, you do not want everyone to know now do you? Now sleep and when you wake up, no one will disturb us ever again" says Durin with a malicious smile as you pass out.
