"Please enjoy your breakfast" You bow to your Masters, Ayaka and Ayato.
You are just a maid of the Kamisato Estate. You were even lucky that you were able to land a job here in Inazuma. But you didn't have to worry much since your brother Thoma was with you.
You and Thoma arrive in Inazuma from Mondstadt by boat and you initially took a different path from your brother but things did not went well on your end. You got fired from your job and you couldn't go back to Mondstadt for three reason.
One, the Sakoku (Vision Hunt) decree. Two, you were too embarrass to go back home since you got fired. Three, your brother was still in Inazuma. You didn't want to go to him for help so you had wandered around Inazuma for at least two years.
That is until the Head of the Kamisato Clan, Ayato had found you at Nazuchi Beach when he was out on an errand. He recognized you when Thoma frequently mentions about you and showing him a photo of you once.
Thus, you were brought to the Kamisato Estate and somewhat gotten a long lecture from your brother who had heard about the whole thing. Ayato gave you a job to serve the Kamisato estate, much like your brother.
"Mmhm, the food is delicious as always. Another outstanding job Y/N-san" says Ayaka.
"Thank you very much Ayaka-ojou-san" You said.
Later, Ayaka and Thoma to meet the newly arrive Traveler who wishes to meet the Archon of Inazuma, Raiden Shogun.
"Thanks for the breakfast today" Ayato suddenly says after Ayaka and Thoma left.
"It's my job after all Ayato-sama" You said.
"My my you're still very formal after a year of working here" says Ayato with a chuckle.
"I... Apologize. It's still a little hard to feel comfortable" You said.
"It's okay. You've got all the time you need. By the way, come over here" says Ayato and you do as instructed and he begins to tell you what he is doing.
It has always been like this. Whenever it was you and Ayato, he'd always share his burden and stories with you. You've got to admit, you started falling for the man but you could never tell him, other than the fact that Thoma happen to find out.
Though Thoma was supportive and usually encourage you to confess your feelings to Ayato, you'd always feel burden. Especially when you see yourself as a lowly maid (even if Thoma tries to stop you from thinking that way).
Today, you were feeling extremely uneasy as your eye kept twitching. You could sense that something bad was about to happen.
"You seem very fidgety today" Ayato points out.
"I apologize but... I can't help but to feel worry that something is about to happen" You said.
"I'm sure everything will be alright" Ayato assures but the uneasy feeling still dwells upon you.
At lunch break, you got the permission from Ayato to head out into Inazuma City for some fresh air. At Inazuma City, you could hear mumbles about the 100th guy being captured and his Pyro vision was about to be taken away.
Your eyes widen and quickly ran towards the statue of the Raiden Shogun. You see a huge crowd and you tried squeezing your way through. Your eyes widen.
"Thoma-nii-san!" You cried out.
"Y/N!" Thoma was shock to see his sister there.
Just then, a figure appears who turn out to be Raiden Shogun herself. Your eyes widen.
"I-It's the Shogun" You mumble.
Raiden faces Thoma whose Pyro vision was strip out of him. Your eyes widen. Without thinking you quickly jump in and take Thoma's vision, earning gasp from the audience.
At the same time, the rumoured Traveler which Ayaka and Thoma mention previously appear beside her.
"You... Do not wield a vision and yet can use elemental powers" says the Shogun.
"You're Aether!" You said, upon realizing who he is.
"We better quickly save Thoma!" The flying companion, Paimon reminds and you nodded.
"Get away from my brother!" You said and draw out your [Weapon Choice] and begin to attack them.
"Thoma-nii-san!" You quickly untie him but was interrupted by the Shogun's lightning.
She eventually engulfs Aether in her Plane of Euthymia domain.
"Traveler!" Paimon cries out.
You turn towards the fallen guards who are attempting to get back home. You quickly fend them off and the Traveler appears back, unconscious.
"You will be inlaid upon this statue" says the Shogun and your eyes widen.
"Musou no Hitotachi..." You mumble.
"Y/N, quick, cut off the rope!" says Thoma and you do as follow.
Just before the Shogun lands an attack, you help your to break free of the rope as he throws the guard's spear towards the Shogun who dodges it and eventually you all escape.
Back at the Kamisato Estate, you were trying to patch yourself up when you had gotten hit by the Shogun's Electro attack but you manage to hide it from your brother.
*knock* *knock*
"C-Come in!" You said as you quickly hide away the first aid kit. The door open and reveal Ayato who closes the door behind him as he sits in front of you.
"A-Ayato-sama" You said.
"I heard the situation from Ayaka. That was reckless of you" says Ayato.
"I can't simply leave my brother alone..." You said and Ayato sighs as he held out your injured hand. Your eyes widen as you tried to pull back but Ayato wasn't allowing it.
"Ayato-sama-"
"Hush now. Your hand is injured. Now where's the first aid kit?" You sigh and took out the kit as he begins to tend to your wound.
"I'm sorry Ayato-sama" You apologize.
"You don't have to apologize. I just want you to stay safe" says Ayato as he finishes wrapping up your hand.
"I've caused so much trouble" You said softly and Ayato kiss your hand elegantly which made you blush.
"I know it may not be the right timing but I like you Y/N. It hurts me to see you getting injured" says Ayato and your eyes widen. You stayed silent before breaking into a shy smile.
"Thank you Ayato-sama... I... Like you too" You confess and Ayato smiles as he gets up.
"Then today is our first day then" He says and you nod shyly.
"I'll leave you to rest then" says Ayato and he left.
After Ayato left, you continue staring at the door with a silly smile on your face as Ayato's words keep repeating in your head.
