You giggled.
"Thanks everyone!" You exclaim.
Today is your birthday and your friends were celebrating with you.
"Y/N! Have this specially made birthday cake for you!" Says Xiangling.
"Thank you Xiangling!" You said.
"It doesn't have Jueyin Chilli does it?" Chongyun mumbles.
"Even if it does it's not for you so not to worry" says Xingqiu as he pat Chongyun's back.
"Ahh.. Osmanthus wine taste—"
"Okay Mr Zhongli we know" says Hu Tao as she cuts off Zhongli, knowing what he wad going to say.
"Hehe... Thank you everyone for the birthday party" You said.
"Enjoy your birthday!" Says Xinyan.
"I thought you said your boyfriend would come today?" Says Yunjin.
"Ahh about that... I guess he's a little late..." You said, a little upset that your boyfriend isn't here in Liyue with you.
But nonetheless, you push those thoughts away as you focus on the party with your friends.
When the party was over, everyone left your place while Yunjin offered to stay behind to help you clean up.
"Thanks for helping Yunjin" You said.
Out of all your Liyue friends, Yunjin is the closest to you.
"No problem. But I was really hoping for Kaeya-san to be here. Everybody has been wanting to see your boyfriend too" says Yunjin and you sighed.
"He's busy... Y'know, Knights of Favonius work is never ending. I understand, no need to worry about me" You assured but Yunjin wasn't all convince.
Eventually Yunjin left as well and you stared at the wall picture of you and Kaeya.
"Kaeya..."
"Someone called?" Your eyes widen as you turn towards the window to see your boyfriend.
"Kaeya!" You exclaim and quickly open the door to let him in.
Once he was in, you immediately engulf the Cavalry Captain in a hug.
"Ahaha, sorry I'm late" says Kaeya.
"I thought you couldn't make it!" You said.
"Nonsense. It's my girlfriend's birthday. I'll do my best to come. Anyways, happy birthday, here's your present" says Kaeya as he hands you a box.
"Wahh, thank you Kaeya! Can I open it?" Kaeya nods and you carefully open up the present.
Your eyes sparkle as you awed at the present.
"It's so pretty!" You exclaim as you held up the present high.
Kaeya got you a pendant and inside is a picture of you and him together.
"Want me to put it on for you?" You nod and Kaeya places the pendant on you.
"Wahh..." You couldn't stop admiring it.
"Oi, don't give so much attention to it. I want some attention too" says Kaeya and you chuckle and give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you Kaeya. This is the best present ever" You said and hug him.
"Happy birthday Y/N" says Kaeya.
"Stay for the night?" Kaeya nods and the two of you got into bed and slowly drift to sleep.
