-October Tenth, 20XX-

That. That right there.

That creature, no, not creature... Devil.

That devil there. That... Is the cause of endless suffering.

So much meaningless death and pain, just because of one thing...

And tonight, the Septics would be rid of it.

"...If-f... If you think this will ch-change anything- you're even s-s-stupider than I thought! You'll all BURN for this!" The devil hissed, coughing up a pool of crimson.

"Burn? No, I think that'll be you." The Septics laughed in relief, their October coming to a great beginning.

The devil slowly came to its knees, struggling to lift itself to even that position. "I'll be back..."

It grinned, a mad, disgusting grin. "When the bell rings four, h̵̡͆ͅȅ̵̞̩l̴͇͋l̵͉̙̊̎ will come to your door...

"Please, you're insane! You can't do anything if you're dead! Your reign of terror is over, demon." Jackieboyman, the hero, scoffed.

"Oh, that's what y-you think... That's what... You..." The devil fell over onto its side, its eyes half-lidded as the crimson liquid covered its entire body and started to pool around it.

"Come on, let's bury it." Chase Brody grabbed it by the scruff, dragging it away.

The Septics took it to the small hill next to their house, under a humble tree. "...Don't you think that this is a bit too good of a resting place?" Jackie asked quizzically as they dragged the very much still alive creature up the bumpy hill.

"Dude, chill out." Chase shot Jackie a look, shutting the other up.

By the time they got around to the actual burying part, it was already dead.

It was a great start to the month, really.

A new, better beginning.
