Adessa joined the circus when she was 18, and was originally a tightrope walker. As she got older and more people joined, the old leaders stepped down and passed their duties onto her, as she had been there the longest at that point. She kind of became the mother figure for all of the queer little orphans (/j) that made up the circus.
