Chapter 32 : Hope.

The group parts away after dinner, everybody goes to their villa and Build doesn't talk to Jeff, he doesn't listen to him, he can only think about Bible. He feels like falling for him again, he jumps on the bed with a loud sign, he wants to play hard to get to make him not forget who has the power, but he is weak with Bible because he knows the effect he has on him. He remembers their conversation before the dinner and how it seemed that Bible had changed, what if he is a new man ? It will be the end for him for sure. He needs to stay away as possible from him or he will be dumb as in the restroom.

Build : I need you to stay by my side all days Jeff, please.

Jeff : Why ? Something happened ?

Build : No.. But, I can't stay alone with Bible.

Jeff : Really ? Alright, I can stay with you. But tomorrow, we are all going in the same place together.

Build : Oh right ! Well, you can't leave me alone even if one of us needs to pee.

Jeff : You're acting weird.. Are you okay ? You are sure nothing happened ?

Build : No.. I just want our plan to success.. Good night..

Jeff : Where are you going ?

Build : I want to sleep on the hammock tonight..

Jeff : Okay.. Good night and have sweet dreams cutie.

Build : Thank you. You too.

Jeff is left alone in the bedroom, having the bed only for himself while Build goes downstairs and opens the Bay window to reach the hammock where he puts the blanket with a pillow before he climbs inside. Actually, he wanted to sleep here for a night, but it's not the reason he is doing it right now. It's probably silly, yet the sadness in Bible's eyes was too much for his heart and he knows that little thing will make him smile tomorrow. He looks at the stars, it's beautiful and he can hear the sound of waves. He yawns before joining the arms of Morpheus, he feels warm and comfortable to have a good sleep.

The next day, in the morning, Build wakes up taking his time to get off the hammock and coming back inside the villa. He greets Jeff, who is already up on his phone while he makes breakfast. His fear comes back, would Jeff give him attention if they become a couple ? He tries to not think about it, but deep inside his chest this fear gives a chance to the good side of Bible to takes steal more space from Jeff's side. He walks towards the table and he sits there waiting to be noticed, quiet so as not to disturb him. He waits for a while, he can a little temper, especially when he caught him meeting his gaze even if it was short. He gets up with an apple and bread before he leaves the villa with his pajama on.

Build doesn't care about his look after all he has a short and a shirt which looks more like a vacation outfit than a pajama. He eats the bread while he walks down the field, then it's the apple's turn. It's obviously not enough, he forgets his wallet so he can't enter a restaurant or a coffee shop to buy a breakfast there. He doesn't know what to do, he decides to just walk until he arrives near the sea on the sand. He really thinks he is not lucky, he asked Jeff to stay by his side to not be alone with Bible again. Yet, he is still happy to see him there, he wonders why he is alone with all this food, he can't stop himself staring at him, he is handsome like that.

Build : Good morning. What are you doing here ?

Bible : Good morning too. It was so noisy there. I bought things to eat and have my breakfast here, it's quieter. You ?

Build : Well, Jeff is on his phone, busy with his work to even greet me. So, I wanted to eat breakfast outside... But I forgot my wallet..

Bible : I will not eat everything alone, do you want some ?

Build : Really ? Thank you, my savior !

Bible : You're welcome. Did you sleep well last night ?

Build : Yes. I slept under the stars in the hammock.

Bible : Really ? Alone ?

Build : Yes. And you ?

Bible : I'm lucky, I have my own room and bed.

Build and Bible eat together most of the dishes with coffee, they talk for a while as they are in their own bubble as they are alone on the island. They laugh over some memories as people could never guess they are ex boyfriends and it didn't end in a good term.They don't know it's not the case, because two of their friends caught them together, having their moment and they can't believe it as they see them smiling again like that.

Apo : Did you know ?

Mile : No. Only that Bible is crazy in love with Build and wants to do everything to have another chance.

Apo : Well, look at them. It makes me remember the old times.

Mile : Are you worried about Build ?

Apo : Yes, you know why.

Mile : I was too. So, I asked Bible to back off if he was not serious and going to hurt him again.

Apo : And ?

Mile : He promised me to be serious, to do everything to have Build back, but if Build doesn't want him again, then he wants to stay close and be his friend.

Apo : Really ? I can't believe it.. But when I see them like that, I kinda wish it will be an happy ending this time..

Mile : Me too. They deserve to be happy, both of them. I think it's promising if they can talk with no anger, right ?

Apo : I guess ? Anyways, let's go buy the last things before we join the others.

Apo and Mile leave the place to go to the grocery store while Build needs to head back to the villa too. The war inside him is rude, he likes those times alone with Bible, yet he is afraid to be hurt again and how his heart beats fast when he is with him. He wants to love, to kiss, to be happy, to erase all the past and he wishes to fight for his love. But could it be Bible ? Can he be sure to not cry again because of him ? He loses his mind when he talks with him, he wants to feel his touch, to be held in his arms, feels his heartbeat under his hand, listen to everything he wants to share and be here with him when he needs comfort.

He comes back inside the villa where Jeff is here, he runs to Build when he sees him and he hugs him as he was worried. On the other hand, Build can't move at all, he doesn't expect this sudden change. Finally, Jeff breaks this hug with a smile and he gives him a bag.

Jeff : Sorry, I was worried. Are you mad at me ? I made everything for today in this bag. We should leave soon.

Build : I'm not mad. I wanted to be alone, I ate on the sand, my feets in the water. It was great. I will change before we leave.

Jeff : Great. I will wait here for you. Take your time.

Build goes upstairs to take a shower and wears different clothes. He wants to spend time with Jeff when he is like that, at the same time he wants to share his time with Bible. It makes him remember at the end, he needs to make a choice and can't expect one of them to make a mistake. His heart needs to choose a winner, a lover, the chosen one.

He comes back to the living room after twenty minutes, he leaves the house with Jeff and they go to the meeting point where the others are waiting for them. They walk together to their destination, talking about last night, what everyone did after dinner. Build is walking between Jeff and Bible, he doesn't notice Apo and Mile staring at them. Build is talking with Jeff while his fingers they brush against Bible's fingers, as they want to hold hands but they can't.
