Chapter 40 : Midnight tale.

In the middle of lunch, Us gets up excusing himself and he goes to the restroom without having an idea that he is following by Apo who can't handle this situation. He was the closest to Build until now, he can't agree on that after all he was the one to introduce them and he doesn't like his place to be stolen. Minds change like the weather, it can't be too late. He wants to help his friend, to hear his stories and spend time with him, not being replace with one of his friends.

Apo : We need to talk.

Us : I'm listening.

Apo : Is he okay ?

Us : Still a little bit sick, but he gets better.

Apo : Is he really angry with me ?

Us : Yes. He doesn't want to meet you.

Apo : But I'm his bestfriend...

Us : Did you really think he would be happy after knowing what you did behind his back ?

Apo : I miss him.. I didn't agree at first.. But.. He seemed truly happy.. He was not his fake smile like when he acted as he was fine, a real one when he was near Jeff..

Us : But it was fake from Jeff.. What if he didn't choose Bible ? Jeff has been never in love with him while Build felt some things for him..

Apo : I thought Jeff would fall for him.. I was hoping for their happy ending.. It was my mistake.. I can't forgive myself for that.. I want to be back in time and change it.. I can't lose my best friend, I almost lost him one day and it was so hard for me.. I still have nightmares about that day..

Us : Listen to me. I'm not willing to take your place. I can do one thing for you. I will watch him and when I will feel he is ready to talk or if he misses you, I can do my best to find a way for both of you.

Apo : Thank you.. Really.. I will be a better best friend for him if he can forgive me..

Us : For his happiness only, I will gladly everything I can but not behind his back. He is hurt for real, you can understand that he feels betrayed. On the other hand, thanks to that he begins a new chapter with Bible, a sane relationship.

Apo : Take care of him for me please.

They leave the restroom, each of them going back to their table. Build is laughing with Bible, he thought he was the problem and everybody would agree on that, but with him by his side he starts to think otherwise. He is exhausted to blame himself all the time when he is not only one in the story. His world changed, his point of view too, he is eager to heal and to give up on everything not healthy in his life. He wants his ever after for this second chance, Bible is his midnight making him less afraid of darkness.

Us : What did I miss ?

Bible : Nothing. Only Build mesmerized by me.

Us : I'm not going to have another meal with you. My heart can't handle that.

Bible : Sorry. I'm going to shower my biu biu with love and never gonna stop that.

Build : You're cute. Months ago, I was alone in my bed, watching the moon thinking about having someone with me and be happy, to feel alive again.

Us : Your wish came true.

Build : Yes, I'm happier. I guess happiness comes with a price, but it worths it.

Bible : Don't be sad, my beautiful man. Let not think about them. Shall we go to our room for cuddles and movies ?

Us : You know.. You don't have to forgive them now.. You can take your time.. Just you can talk to them and just sit around them if you miss them..

Build : I better spend my time with both of you for now. I'm not ready to face them after everything.. I'm too weak, I could forgive him by kindness when I have every right to suffer and not approve what they did.

Us : Nobody says otherwise. You can be angry, sad and you should heal yourself first, you should come first before anybody else. Just think about it when you feel overwhelmed right ? Then, let's go guys !

Bible : I can carry you on my back if you don't feel strong enough to walk.

Build : I'm fine.. Are you finding an excuse to hold me ?

Bible : Of course ! I want to make every dream real and not waking up thinking how it's a shame to not be able to do simple things with you like that.. I don't want to waste my time anymore.

Build : Alright. If it makes you happy, then do it. I have a great idea too ! We can do a to do list about what we want to do together.

Bible : I already have one. I can show you when we arrive, I have it in my suitcase. For now, get in my King because I will be your faithful steed.

Us : Oh my god.. I can't believe you..

After some hours, Build looks at his boyfriend, cuddling in their bed, he is scared to ask him, but he is so curious and well, he really needs to know because they start over with no secret keeping from each other. He is worried about what he is about to learn, even if he also needs to confess him some things he discovered about himself. Being brave, he taps his shoulder to grab his attention while the second movie is finished. He can't wait anymore for this question burning his lips, he can handle every answer or at least he hopes for that.

Build : Bible.. Love.. Can I ask you something and can you answer me with honesty please ?

Bible : Of course. Everything for my biu biu.
