Chapter 18 : Frustrated.

Build wakes up in Jeff's arms, he stares at him with a soft smile on his lips. Yesterday night was more than amazing and he would never be able to forget it. Jeff opens slowly, his eyes.

Jeff : Hello cutie. Do you like the view ?

Build : Good morning and yes you can say that. But, I'm so hungry right now.

Jeff : Really ? You need to regain strength so I will cook our breakfast.

Build : Great ! You're the best Jeff !

Jeff gets up, he takes his jogging to wear it before going to the kitchen. As for Build he reaches his phone to see many texts from Bible.

10 PM - Bible : " Can we talk at your coffee shop tomorrow afternoon please ?".

10 : 30 PM - Bible : " Are you busy ?".

11 PM - Bible : " I beg you. We need to talk.".

11 : 10 PM - Bible : " I need to know if I can go there or not ?".

12 PM - Bible : " I know you are with him, Mile told me. Why are you not answering Build ?".

12 - 30 PM - Bible : " I will wait for you tomorrow afternoon.".

1 AM - Bible : " I don't want to hurt you. Can't you do that for me ? Am I nothing to you ?".

Build is confused, he doesn't understand why Bible is like this after their history. It's hard to move on, burning inside with jealousy because he was the only one sad. He can't forget what happened after their breakup, what he did to him and how he was more hurt. For him, everything was precious. He really thought he was dying because he couldn't be happy for a while. Now that he starts finally to see the shining light, Bible thinks he can come and mess up again. He is braver than before, he could be the eye of the storm coming soon.

Build : " I will be in my coffee shop this afternoon. "

As he sends his answer, he gets up to wear clothes before joining Jeff in the kitchen. They have breakfast together, it seems natural as it was not the first time, even if after they did last night. Jeff needs to work, although he prefers to talk with his boy, he can't. Build gets ready that way, he will be dropped in front of his home and it would be better, especially as he is still wearing the red suits.

He takes a shower as soon as he is in his apartment. He can't believe what happened last night, how fast it was going with Jeff and his heart is lost. He deserves this happiness, he wants it. But is he ready for that ? He doesn't want to hurt his friend because he feels like a burden with all the emotional baggage he carries with him. A long time ago, he was the innocent one who waited and hoped to change his partner. He knows too well how it can be devastating, he wishes that for anybody to live like him.

With no enthusiasm he gets ready, leaving his house again to go to his coffee shop. He can't deny that he feels strange to meet alone his ex boyfriend like that. He did it only once after their breakup when their history became worse and nobody around them knows this part of their past. As a blind man in love, Build hid it to keep up appearances, even if it was more for Bible because people would have felt more pity for him. Unfortunately for him, the ride is short.

He enters his place, greeting everybody there before he found Bible already sitting with a cup of coffee, he walks to him and sits in front of him even if he really doesn't want to or at least one part of him doesn't want it.

Bible : Hi Build. I'm glad we can talk.

Build : Hello. Well, I don't understand what we need to talk about.

Bible : You should not date Jeff. He is not the one you think he is.

Build : Excuse me ? Are you crazy ? It's none of your business.

Bible : Of course, it's my business ! I don't want to see you with him.

Build : You're my ex, you have no right to decide who I can date. Jeff makes me happy. Finally, I meet a real man who makes me want to love again and be in a relationship.

Bible : Can't you do it for me ? Please.. He is not that kind, he acts strangely at work.

Build : Why should I ? Did you ask me before being official with the woman you cheated on me ? No right ? So fuck you Bible ! I'm so tired of you being childish !

Bible : I can broke up with her if you ask me but don't become Jeff's boyfriend.

Build : Can you hear me ? It's not a matter where you can have your word to say. I have been always nice with you, I haven't told anybody about your secret.

Bible : I would always be thankful for that.. Wait.. Is that hickeys on your neck ? Mile told me you slept at Jeff's house but I thought you would not go that far..

Build : For your unhealthy curiosity, I had the greatest night of my life. Jeff took me in many positions, we tried new things and I never had orgasms like that before. Do you want to know more ?

Bible : Stop it please ! You have gone too far Build ! You should ask Tong about Jeff's last boyfriend if you don't trust me ! I care for you, you are mine.. I mean you were once mine.. I still like you.. My cute Biu...

Build : Exactly, for my poor sake I was once yours and it will be my regret for all of my life to have been ingenuous with you. You lost two chances with me. I was not perfect and even if I did my best to understand you, I can't forgive everything. You broke my heart, you moved on with a woman. Now it's my turn.

As Build is getting up, Bible grabs his wrist to make him stay more, but with no eye contact Build gets rid of his grip. He hates himself to feel that deep inside Bible has still some power over him when he sees him being like that towards his happiness. He can't trust him, even if he gets curious about Jeff and he could not harm him to meet Tong to question him subtly.
