Chapter 50

Alexander's POV

Finally finishing reading and replying to any new emails, I shut down my laptop.

I look down at Diana who's after falling asleep beside me, I smile.

Its a little past eleven, and we've been up since six am since we had a meeting to get to two hours away. Diana has been tired all day, since she needs her eight hours sleep.

I carefully get up out of bed, going and putting my laptop away. I pull the covers up to her shoulders, before leaning down and placing a kiss on her temple.

Turning off the lamp on the bedside table, the room goes completely dark.

I find my way to the door quite easily. I've lived in this room all my life. I could easily navigate myself through it in the dark. Opening the door, I step out and close the door behind me.

I'm not tired at all, so I figured I could go work out till I'm exhausted. Going down to the gym, I straight away notice Leo on the bench press.

Walking over, I reach him just as he sits up. "What are you doing here?" Leo asks, slightly out of breath. "Same as you" I shrug, and he nods, wiping his forehead with a small facecloth.

Its something we all do. If we cant sleep, we come here. Work out till our bodies are physically exhausted, then we finally fall asleep.

"Wanna go?" I ask as he stands up. "Why not" He grins, and we walk over to the corner of the gym where we have mats in place.

Bringing our fists up, we eye eachothers movements as we slowly circle eachother. "So how's work going?" I ask just as I try punch him, but he dodges, landing his own punch right on my temple, sending me to the floor.

"Okay. This ass named Paul is a real pain" Leo tells me, holding out a hand to help me up. I take it and he helps me up.

"I know all about those" I mumble, and he chuckles. He throws a punch which I manage to escape just in time, and I punch his stomach. He groans. "Fuck man" I laugh at him as he cluches his stomach.

I punch him while he's distracted, but it doesnt work and he dodges, but lands his own hit at my jaw. I stumble back a bit. I see Leo come over in my pervisional vision, trying to get me when I'm distracted. I quickly turn, kicking my leg into his side.

He falls to the ground, before kicking my feet out from under me. I fall to the ground hard, and he quickly puts me in a headlock.

I try pull his arm away but its no use. I feel myself go lightheaded, but I refuse to tap out because that would mean letting Leo win.

Leo suddenly lets go, and I gasp, coughing a bit. I see Sage rolls his eyes at the two of us, and I put the pieces together and figure he must have intervened. Because Leo wouldn't of let me go otherwise.

Both of us are always two stubborn to tap out. We usually end up blacking out for a few seconds, before we wake up and start again.

"I could of handled that" I tell him, and he rolls his eyes before walking away.

Leo gives me a hand up, and we both share a look, grinning, clearly having the same idea.

"Yo Sage, come here for sec" Leo yells while I walk to the side a bit. Sage comes back over, and Leo puts his fists up. Sage chuckles amused, before mirroring his stance.

They circle eachother, and when Sage has his back to me, I jump onto his back, bringing my arms around his neck tightly.

His hands instinctively try pull my arms away put I dont budge. While he's distracted trying to get me to stop choking him, Leo punches him across the face.
