Business With Lust

Chapter 54

Diana's POV

I wake up in Alex arms like always. Hes fast asleep, and I smile as I look at him.

He looks so beautiful. He always does, but especially in his sleep.

"Why are you staring at me?" He suddenly mumbles groggily. Alex brings his hands up, rubbing his eyes before he looks at me through half open eyes.

"Just because"  I shrug. "Because.." Alex trails off, waiting for me to finish. "Because" I say, and he chuckles.

His eyes droop closed, but he fights to keep them open. I smile, moving up to kiss his forehead. "Go to sleep" I whisper, and he hums before letting his eyes close.

I get up, and have a long shower. Once I'm done, I blow dry my hair before putting on some clothes.

Going downstairs, I see Ezra watching a movie in the living room. Julians asleep, his head rested on Ezra's lap while his body is covered in a blanket.

Quinn and Elijah are also there too. On the opposite couch, Elijah lies awake. Watching the movie with Ezra also, while Quinn lies completely on top of him, fast asleep. He doesn't seem to mind though, as he rubs her back gently.

Since its the morning, and Quinn and Julian are fast asleep, I'm guessing they both crashed on the couch last night.

Smiling at them, I walk into the kitchen. Going over to the toaster, I make some toast for myself. 

Just as I'm buttering my toast, arms wrap around my waist. I jump slightly, since I didn't hear anyone walk in.

"Its me" Alex mumbles. "You scared me" I chuckle, and he hums while he hugs me closer to him, resting his chin on my shoulder. I dont know why he's here. I haven't even looked at him and I already know he's probably still have asleep. He's too stubborn to just sleep sometimes.

Just then, I hear footsteps getting louder and louder. Turning around, I see Leo and Clayton run into the kitchen, before quickly hiding behind the kitchen island.

They're panting, very out of breath. I look at them confused.

Then Charlotte and Harriet come running in. "Hey Diana, Alex" Charlotte says, out of breath. I smile at both of them.

"Have you seen Leo and Clayton?" Charlotte asks. "Encase you forgot, Clayton is the annoying one who never shuts up" Harriet says.

I glance down at Leo and Clayton. Clayton has his jaw dropped, a scowl on his face as he looks offended. Leo has a hand over his mouth, trying to hide his laugh.

Alex laughs quietly beside me, while I fight back a smile. "And you were unfortunate enough to have met Leo" Charlotte says.

Leo stops laughing immediately, and they both scowl. "Haven't seen them" Alex tells them.

They turn to me. "I haven't either" I tell them, glancing at the two, before back up at the girls.  They follow my gaze, grinning when they get the hint.

I smile as I watch them quietly and slowly walk around to the kitchen island. "Run" Alex whispers as they get near.

I turn, slapping his chest while Leo and Clayton scramble up to there feet and run, with the girls very close behind.

They leave the kitchen, and I turn to Alex,  and he's already looking at me. "You seem to have picked a side" Alex says, glancing at me up and down.

"So have you" I tell him, staring at him. We stand in silence, before smiles break out onto our faces.

I laugh, turning to grab my plate of toast.  I walk over to the kitchen table with Alex followng behind.

I sit down on one of the chairs, and he sits beside me.
