Alexander's POV
"Leo, fuck off" I scowl. He laughs while I glare at him. Even Sage fucking chuckles.
I hate both of them.
I'm trying to work out peacefully, and Leo keeps throwing fucking sunflower seeds at me.
He eats those things religiously. You should see the multiple packs of those damn seeds we have in the pantry. We all think their disgusting, but he eats so much of them you'd swear they're laced with crack.
"I'm leaving" I mutter when he does it again. They both laugh while I walk to the door.
Going up the stairs, I pass by Jay's office. I knock on the door, opening it when he says to come in.
"Whats up?" Jay asks. "Go to bed" I tell him. He laughs. "I'm a grown adult. I'm not letting my little brother tell me when-"
"Go to bed" I repeat. Its nearly two am, and he's been up since before six am. He looks exhausted, as usual.
"No-"
"Dont make me get Sage. Because he will drag you and you know it" I say. Its true, its happened before. It was the funniest shit ever, watching Sage throw Jay over his shoulder and carry him upstairs like a damn child while he threatened Sage in some very gruesome ways.
"Fine" Jay mutters, standing up. I smile while he walks out, glaring at me as he walks past.
Jay is like a big baby when you tell him to go to bed.
Turning off the light in his office, I close the door. Walking down the hallway, I'm about to go to the stairs when I see the lights on in the kitchen.
Thinking I might catch Alora and Becca again, I walk in. Instead, I see Casey sitting at the kitchen table, staring at his phone looking pale.
"Are you okay?" I ask, and he jumps, breaking out of his daze. He clears his throat. "Fine" He mumbles.
I stare at him for a second, before walking over to the fridge. I grab a bottle of water, opening it before giving it to him.
"Thanks" He mumbles, chugging half it. I nod, sitting down beside him. "Whats up?" I ask him. He shakes his head. "Nothing" Casey whispers.
I nod, staring at the table in front while we sit in silence.
"I'm quite hungry. I'm going to go out for some food" He says. "Casey its two am".
"I know a place open all night" He says, standing up. "Do you-" He clears his throat since his voice sounded shaky. "Do you know where Diana's keys are?" He asks.
"Her car has a flat tire" I remind him. Yesterday evening Diana went to get hot chocolate powder and somehow punctured her tire. And we were both at work so I haven't had time to fix it yet. She insists on bringing it to the garage, because she doesn't want to 'burden' anyone.
I'll tell Ezra tomorrow and he'll fix it. He'll also get offended Diana even suggested going to a mechanic.
Casey curses under his breath. "How about I drive you" I suggest. He looks at me. "No um..I'll walk, I like walks" He says, nodding to himself.
If he thinks I'm letting him go on a walk at two am on his own, he's not as smart as I thought.
"Casey, we both know you're not going for food. Im going to drive you" I tell him, standing up. "Thanks" He whispers, and I nod.
I quickly grab some shoes and my keys from my room, before going downstairs. We walk out to my car in silence, and once we're in I start driving.
"So where are we going?" I ask him. "The um..the police station" He mumbles. I look at him. "My friend got arrested. I need to bail him out" Casey says.
