A new sibling had arrived at the orphanage. But something was different and strange. Usually, children would arrive as babies, not nine-year-olds. Though no one seemed to question it, curiosity lingered in three other children's minds. The three children are destined to be the smartest kids in all of Gracefield House. They are also destined to set out into the dangerous world filled with demons.
Along with the new girl right in front of them. She had her hair tied in a low messy but styled bun. She had bangs and two pieces of hair out on both sides. Her hair was a black and she had blue eyes. The numbers on her neck, 72194, was her identification number.
"Attention please!" Isabella, the mother of the house, called. "Thank you. You have a new sibling that will be staying with us. Her name is Karma."
"Hello Karma!" The children greeted.
The young girl stood there silently. She took a look around the room. So many kids were living there. Possibly a total of 39 including herself. Children both younger and older than her. Each one of them seemed welcoming and friendly. All of the sudden, a boy went up to her.
"Hello, my name is Norman." He says as he had his hand out for a hand shake. "It's nice to meet you."
Karma shook his hand hesitantly and replied with,"It's nice to meet you as well."
Norman. 22194. A boy with short platinum blond hair and ocean blue eyes. What was unique about his hair was that one part was curled to look like a horn. His aura seemed friendly, and he's well mannered (and of course adorable). Karma could tell he was harmless and pure, but she knew that she should get to know someone better by spending more time instead of relying on first impressions. Other than that, she felt a sense of warmth coming from him.
He reminds me of an angel, Karma thought to herself. Maybe there are such things as angels in this world.
A girl ran up to the two and waves.
"Hi! I'm Emma and I'm glad to have you as a new sibling!" She says. Emma embraced Karma, who is a bit surprised and anxious in the moment. She wasn't used to receiving hugs from others, so she just stands there.
Norman sees Karma's uneasiness, "Um Emma, I think you should let go of her."
"Oh sorry. You're not a hugger, are you?" Emma asked, letting go.
"It's okay, I'm just not used to being hugged." Karma replied. Emma nodded her head, but then says, "Well get used to it because I'm gonna hug you every day!"
Emma. 63194. A girl with tangerine, messy hair that sticks out in all directions. One part is curled and sticks up like an antenna and another part was a longer curl at the back of her neck. Her eyes are emerald green. She seemed a lot more livelier than the other kids in the orphanage that Karma had observed. Similar to Norman, she also displayed a friendly aura.
All she reminds me of is an orange, maybe even a pumpkin,Karma thought to herself again. But other than that, she is very welcoming. A little too welcoming...

It was free time for everyone. Kids were playing with balls and running around outside. Some choose to sit and talk while time goes by. A game that is popular among the children is their game of tag.
While Emma amd Norman were off playing tag with the other kids, Karma decided to sit underneath a tree closest to the house. But she wasn't aware that the tree was a usual sitting spot for one of the kids there.
A boy came walking out of the house with a book in his hand. He noticed Karma at the tree. He decided to try to claim a spot beside her.
"Hey, is it okay if I sit and read here?" The boy asked.
