May 29, 2043.

It was a beautiful spring day at Gracefield House. Everyone was outside enjoying their free time like there was no tomorrow.

The trio decided to stay at the tree instead of playing with the other kids.  Emma's and Norman were having a conversation while Ray was enjoying his book.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Emma. Remember last time?"Norman asked her.

"I want to try beating Karma at chess again." Emma says. "I know I can win this time for sure."

"But you shouldn't have to bet on anything." Norman advised.

"Yeah." Ray agreed. "Unless you want to do two chores instead of one like last time."

"But I-" Emma paused.

There was a moment of silence. The trio all heard what sound like a someone singing.

"Maybe it's the way you say my name..."

"Did any of you guys hear that?" Emma asked.

"Yeah..."Both boys say at the same time.

"Maybe its the way you play your game..."

The trio spot the voice coming from Karma, who was passing by and making her way to the forest.

"But it's so good
I never knew anybody like you
But it's so good
I never dreamed on nobody like you..."

They all look at each other and thought of the same.

"Let's go follow her!" Emma says

"I'm not sure it's a good idea-" Ray says as Emma and Norman get up from sitting. Ray rolled his eyes and went along with them.

The trio secretly followed and hid in the forest to see what Karma was up to.

"I wonder what she's singing?" Emma says.

"Shh!" Ray tells her.

They all turned their attention on Karma, who was sitting on the ground.

"And I've heard of a love that comes once in a life time...
And I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine...

Cause I'm in a field of dandelions
Wishing on every one that you are mine
Mine."

The trio's eyes widen and they were in awe.

Karma continues singing,

"I see forever in your eyes
I feel okay when I see you smile
Smile.

Wishing on dandelions all of the time

Praying to God that one day you'll be
mine

Wishing on dandelions all of the time
All of the time."

As she sings, the trio began thinking to themselves.

Emma couldn't believe Karma would sing to herself a love song, or any song for that matter. Ever since she met Karma and hang-out with her, Karma never mentioned any hobbies like singing.

She's so good! She might want to be a singer one day, Emma thought to herself.

Norman liked Karma's singing. Her voice was calming and pleasant to his ears. But like Emma, he hasn't heard her sing before. He had more questions because to him, or all of them, Karma was a mystery.

I wonder what other songs she likes to sing, Norman thinks to himself.

Ray didn't think Karma liked to sing. He would hear her hum songs for a little bit while they both read underneath the tree together. But this was different. He knew somehow that she sang with all her heart, her heart that seemed pure and true.

She should sing more often, Ray thinks to himself.

"I know you guys are there." Karma says, getting up.

The three of them froze. They all looked at each other, and each got out of the hiding space.

"That was great!" Emma compliments.

"Thank you." Karma says.

"Why didn't you tell us you could sing?" Norman asks.

"I didn't think that it would be a big deal." Karma says nonchalantly.

"You should sing more often." Ray says to Karma.

Karma looks at each of them, but then smiles.

"If that's what you want."
