Norman waits by Emma's bedside as she is tucked in and resting her body. It had been not to long ago that Karma had left the room.

"Emma." Norman calls.

Emma turns her head to face Norman.

She reaches out her hand, and he envelops his hands on hers.

"Don't worry." Norman tells her. "Mom only took away the rope. The plan isn't over yet. Your leg will heal in time for the escape."

"That's not what I'm worried about! We have to do something about your shipment! You're coming with us!"

Norman let's go of Emma's hand.
"I'll go get you some water." Norman says as he gets up to leave.

"Norman!" Emma calls out, but he left the room.

Norman walks over to the dining hall to fetch Emma a cup of water.

At first, he just stands at the sink. After several seconds have passed, he reaches the handle, but couldn't turn it due to him not applying enough force. He eventually turn the handle, and the water quickly runs down the faucet.

As he fills the cup of water, he drops it in the sink and bends to the ground. He looks frightened, his eyes wide open and full of fear while covering his mouth.

The news about this shipment was getting to him, meaning he would have to say goodbye forever to the life and family he has.

Meanwhile, Karma writes in her diary on how the day went.

November 2, 2045

Dear Diary,

We failed the investigation.

Ray and I are fired from being Mom's spies. She has no use for me and him anymore. Mom took my tracker away. Emma's leg is broken thanks to Mom.

Apparently, the shipment that I had worried for picked Norman. He is getting shipped out.

Karma stops writing for a moment. She stops focusing on writing and ideas were popping in her head.

What if... we made it seem like Norman's gone?

Karma quickly shoves her diary and pencil in her drawer and runs to the library.

Karma starts searching the book shelves, looking for a certain book she read not too long ago.

There's a book somewhere in the history section that I can find... it may solve the problem while still following my plan for all of us to escape.

"I got it!" Karma exclaims as she gets the book off of a lower shelf.

Karma runs to the infirmary carrying the book in her hand.

I may have a solution! I can catch Mom off with this for sure!

Karma opens the door, and finds Ray in the infirmary with Emma.

"Ray?" Karma says confused to why Ray was there.

"We have a plan to help Norman avoid getting shipped." Ray says.

Norman pulled himself together at the dining hall. He filled the cup with water and head back to Emma. He finds Karma, Ray and Emma in the room.

"Ray. Karma." Norman says.

"Sit down." Karma tells him.

Norman takes a seat on a stool.
