Ray was the traitor all along.

"What are you saying, Norman?" Ray asks confused.

"I set a trap for three people." Norman explains, "I told Don that the rope was underneath my bed. I told Gilda that the second one was in the second bathroom ceiling. At least that's what I told you.

"But actually, I told Don that it was in the dining hall, and told Gilda it was in the library."

Ray began to understand and realize that all this was a trap for him.

"Since the rope underneath my bed disappeared, what about the other two locations? Should we go check them out?"

The boys stare at each other in silence, both of them with stoic expressions.

Ray slowly goes to lay on the bed with his arm covering his face.

Breaking the silence, he let's out a laugh.

After all this time, he finally got caught. It seemed hilarious to him.

And that's when things start to unfold. Ray had been a spy for six years. Norman says that he won't tell everyone about this discovery. He says he'll continue to let Ray stay by there side, that Ray would share everything he knows. But Ray had conditions. If he were to join Norman's side and share information, Norman would have to betray Emma and leave the rest of the kids. The only exceptions are the quadruple, Don, and Gilda.

Despite all the efforts and training, Ray would always think the kids are a huge burden.

"I thought you said you'd help us." Norman recalled.

"What I'm doing is helping." Ray told him. Ray gets off the bed and stands in front of Norman. "If you don't like it, then you can just die here."

"But what about me, Karma and Emma? Do you want us to die?"

"Honestly, I'd rather you get shipped out than die right after the escape."

"But Karma may have a plan to have all the kids come with us."

"But she hasn't shared it. Has she really come up with a plan?" Ray crossed his arms.

"I'll ask her-"

"She hasn't."

Norman went silent. Ray won the argument.

"She realized it isn't possible to take us all." Ray continues, "She probably said she'd help out to get Emma to shut up about taking everyone."

"Karma would never." Norman disagrees. "She wouldn't lie about something like that, especially if it's something so serious and important to us."

"Trust me. I would know. Out of all of us, who does she spend more time with?"

Norman couldn't argue with him anymore.

Ray says. "Pushing that off to the side... do we have a deal?"

With no other choice to get Ray to his side, Norman agreed to Ray's terms.

Ray puts a hand on Norman's shoulder and gets close to his ear. "If I find out you lied to me..."

With a smile and closed eyes, Norman assures him, "Don't worry. You have my word."

Ray goes to the door. Right as he was about to leave, he decides that it was time to let the cat out of the bag for a certain someone.

"Oh, another thing." Ray says as he stands by the door. "Karma has a secret."

"What?"

"She's a spy for Mom as well." Ray told him.
