I shook my head to try and wipe that thought out of my head.
Ochako: Get it together, Ochako. I-I'm sure he won't mind a phonecall at this time... right?
Something in the back of my mind suddenly yelled at me to push the button and...

What if he doesn't pick up? I mean, he probably just came home! He could be napping after how long this day has been for him! Yeah, He's asleep. That's why he's not picking up! Thats-
Kouga, over the phone: Hello? Ochako?
Ochako: Ah! H-Hi K-Kouga! U-Uh...
Kouga: Pfft, you alright? You're sounding a little weird.
Ochako: Th-that's probably just my phone, it's a really old phone and I assume that I sound kinda scratchy on the other end.
Kouga: Oh? What kind of phone do you have?
Ochako: I don't know the specific type but i-it's a flip phone.
Kouga: Ah... that makes a little more sense now.
Ochako: What do you mean?
Kouga: It's nothing, just thought you had a more modern phone honestly.
Ochako: N-no, modern phones are kinda expensive nowadays so-
Kouga: I get it, don't worry.
Then there was this silence on both ends, it felt way too long, so I built up my courage and asked
Ochako: H-how are you?
Kouga: Oh, I'm doing fine, just still trying to clear my head after the exams. Like shit man, all of the robots worth a damn were gone by the time Green Bean and I knew what was happening.
