Kouga sat by in the hallway leading out to the arena, staring blankly off into space. There was this strange feeling in his body, he felt mad but at the same time felt utterly at peace with himself, it confused him a little. These last few weeks had made him feel so different than he once did, it scared him. He took the note out of the pocket of his gym clothes, reading it again.
"The temple waits for your arrival, Destroyer."
He didn't know what that meant. It left him with so many questions that he just didn't know the answers to. "Destroyer?', what did that mean? He rubbed the palm of his hand on his face, his other hand still trapped in the bandage.
Kouga: Why the hell hasn't it healed yet? It doesn't usually take this long for wounds like that to heal...
Kouga groaned and hit the floor.
Kouga: This shit is so annoying! Why did this have to happen to me, huh!? The one time that healing wants to act up is when something important happens.
He growled a little and sighed.
Kouga, defeated: This is stupid...
His ear perked up, hearing Present Mic start to hype up his announcement for the second match.
Kouga, standing up: Where is that excitement I had when I was fighting Midoriya? The more I look at that Todoroki kid...
Kouga started to walk into the arena.
Kouga: ...the more he pisses me off.

Kouga's friends watched from the spectators' seats. Many of them were excited to watch two of the strongest kids in the class fight, others were worried about the safety of either of them.
Jiro: He's about to fight Todoroki and he's down an arm, how is that fair?
Iida: I fail to see why he's still in, his opponents are gonna get tougher from here.
Midoriya, looking at him: What's that supposed to mean?
Momo: It means that you would struggle against Todoroki too, and from the looks of it, Todoroki doesn't seem too happy.
Mina: He'll be fine, Kouga's ready to fight anything!
Jiro, sighing: If you say so.
Ochako had just gotten back to her seat after visiting Recovery Girl.
Ochako: Have I missed anything?
Mina: Not yet, Kouga hasn't come out yet.
Ochako: That's strange, he was heading to the arena when I saw him last...
Mina: Oh! There he is!

Kouga walked to hear the roaring of Present Mic's voice and the crowd in the stadium. For some reason, it all sounded like gibberish to him. As he stepped foot into the arena, he saw the look on Todoroki's face. He looked angry.
Todoroki: I was supposed to be fighting Midoriya.
Kouga: Sometimes things don't go the way you want them to, Stop-Sign.
Todoroki: We had a conversation before you fought him, that if I was to fight him that he would force me to go all out.
Kouga scoffed: Really?
