Chapter 6: Test Yourself

-20 minutes later-

Kouga had just done the sit ups test, after also completing the side step, the grip strength, the disance run, and toe touch tests just a few minutes prior.

Kouga turned to Mina who had just completed the 50 meter dash test, she was panting heavily after having to run so fast in such a short amount of time. He groaned because of the excessive amount of sit ups he just did and sat next to Mina.

Kouga: So far, haven't had to use my quirk. I've just been kinda using my normal body for these.

Mina: Dude, your normal body is the equivilent of like 5 gymnasts, of course this seems easier for you.

Kouga, teasingly: I'm sorry that you don't take up my offers to go to the gym.

Mina punched his arm lightly and snickered at his teasing.

Mina: You know I'm lazy, Kouga.

Kouga : Yeah yeah, excuses like usual.

Mina punched his arm harder: Jerk.

Kouga: I know, I know.

The two laughed before Kouga stood up and walked towards the 50 meter dash test.

Kouga: Might as well get this out of the way then.

Mina: You got this!

Kouga had just watched Iida complete the test in 3.04 seconds, shocked at just how fast he actually was.

Kouga, thinking: I knew that kid was fast but not THAT fast. I gotta pull something to see if I can beat this.

Cheetah's voice rang out through his head: You could always use my powers, y'know.

Kouga: The hell!?

His classmates all looked at Kouga as he shouted that.

Kouga: S-sorry! Just didn't expect, u-uh... Mr. Stuck up to be so fast!

Iida, shouting from the other side of the track: My name is Tenya Iida!

Kouga: Y-yeah! Him! Hehe...

Kouga: What the fuck are you doing here!?

Cheetah: What? Can't cheer up my vessel as he goes through trials and tribulations?

Kouga: You and I both know that's not what I mean.

Cheetah sighed: Look, kid. When you froze like that a few minutes ago, that sorta sent me through the floor of that void, and now I'm here.

Kouga: That must've mean't my body couldnt handle your powers suddenly coming to me! Why the hell are you actually here though?

Cheetah: Your body must've done something subconsciouslly, like how something similar happened with Tiger when you were little.

Kouga: At least I know I'm probably not gonna die. 

Cheetah: Yeah, but this backlash is gonna be wild for you to handle later. 

Kouga: What do you mean- 

Kouga slouched over as he took his place at the start of the track. Jiro took notice of this and ran to him. 

Jiro: Don't start yet! Something's happening with Kouga.

Jiro walked up closer to to Kouga and turned his face to look towards her. Then something happened with Kouga's eyes that she had noticed when this happened in the class room.
