Ms Silver had been droning on for quite a while; it was starting to get tiring to hear. Not that it's never not tiring to hear her voice, but at this point she sounded like a broken record. She kept repeating herself, restating her dissapointment, anger, and disgust. There weren't enough words in an English thesaurus to truly describe the fury that coursed through her veins and the tension that was beginning to pile up in the room. Miss Nihachu, Wilbur, Dream, and Ms Silver were all situated in the headmistress' office. While Ms Silver towered behind her own desk, Miss Nihachu was placed idly by the side of it as she tried her best not to let the worry in her stomach get to her head.
As for Wilbur and Dream, they were sat in two very uncomfortable seats right in front of her table trying to hold damp cloths and ice packs up to their own faces. Miss Nihachu had offered to help them with their wounds several times whenever she saw the blood trickling down their faces, but the principal would always snap at her secretary, claiming that 'they should've thought about the consequences before they started fighting'. It was even worse that they had to go straight to her office once they got pulled away from each other. There was no stop to the infirmary, no nurse to check on them- Just a spare ice pack that the teachers are required to keep in their offices.
Dream was leaned back in his seat, a cold pillow being held up to one of his eyes. He could constantly taste the iron of the blood that fell from his lip, but it had just become a natural sensation at this point. After all of the fighting he had done in the past, he would definitely say that he had never gotten as beat up as he had done this time— Most likely because there was a lot of context fuelling this row. And while he wasn't nearly as beat up as Wilbur was, it felt like every part of him was tensing up.
For a person who had never gotten into a real fight, Wilbur sure did hold his own. —He got his ass kicked, but he did better than expected. He was sure that his brother's would've congratulated him if they weren't so close with Dream... And if they weren't extremely scared of Ms Silver, who was still going on about the argument.
"Childish, immature, irresponsible!" Ms Silver seethed, listing off her fingers as she spat out the words in a blinded rage. "You two, and everybody that decided to film the scene, have disgraced Cellmoor Academy's name! There hasn't been a fight on school grounds in years!" Her voice was practically at a screech, like one that you would hear from an agitated crow.
"He started it!" Wilbur was eager to snap back, the fury in his words overpowering the intimidation that ached in his heart.
"With good reason!" The blonde then retorted.
"Enough!" The screamed over the both of them, causing them to jump a little in their seats. "No speaking unless either of you are given the right to speak!" The boys found themself to flinch when she pointed.
It hurt something deep down within Miss Nihachu to see her boss yell at the students with such blazing anger. The pink-haired lady knew that never in a million years would she even think about using such force on a child, even if they are technically old enough to know better. Every time they winced or flinched at even the slightest movement of Ms Silver's hand just unlocked a protective instinct in Miss Nihachu, one that was being forcefully pushed back down inside of her.
She gave the boys awkward glances, her eyes holding an almost sorrowful gaze at them- Like she was apologising through her stare. They appreciated the action and they would understand why she had kept so silent, but it was a shame that she couldn't verbally defend them.
