·˚· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ VALLEYWELL PREPARATORY SCHOOL, chapter XIII

It was the second friday of the tournament and now Cellmoor Academy was in round two of the event. This time, a lot more students came prepared to the bleachers as they were all dressed in brighter colours with caps and scarves on, screaming their pride up to the heavens. As much as Ms Silver disliked the showing of such enthusiasm to a sport, there wasn't really much that she could do about it in terms of punishment. Besides, it was all for a good cause, wasn't it? The whole point was to display your school spirit.

(Y/n), Tubbo, and the Watson were all sat in the same seats as they were last time, all making their bets on who would win. Just as Tommy had promised himself, he had made a DIY team shirt that he had taken it upon himself to wear to the game. It was poorly made and the writing on it was very scruffy, but it was the best of his own abilities. Plus, he himself had seen no issue with the presentation of his top.

Cellmoor Academy had never faced another team like this, and it isn't really the way that you may think of it. Cellmoor had faced small clubs and other academies, some of which were as elite as they were. But the one thing that made Valleywell Preparatory School, which was the name of the institution that they were facing, different to any other academy was that there was a mix of boys and girls in the team, which had practically taken the group by surprise when they saw their party rock up onto the field. The entire group was sporting their own school's patterns, proud to be a part of the game.

The first wave of surprise came when the first woman had stepped onto the pitch to have a chat with the other school before the match started. Her helmet had been taken off and tucked underneath her arm to reveal a head of long, brown curls that had little rose charms twisted into every few locks. What followed pursuit was a girl of a slightly shorter stature, one who's dark hair was tied into a low ponytail to sway the flyaway strands away from her eyes.

Tommy, being the way that he was, couldn't help but stifle his cackles at the sight of the girls on the pitch, tossing a piece of candy into his mouth to prepare to make his statement.

"Oh, they're gonna absolutely win this." Tommy boasted, chewing loudly on his snacks. "Basically half of their team are girls."

(Y/n) slowly turned her head down towards the golden-blonde, her eyes narrowed very slightly to make her displeasure known to the child. "What a surprisingly sexist thing of you to say, Toms."

"No, I just mean that they've never versed girls before." He grumbled back, sinking down into his chair.

"That doesn't mean they can't be good." (Y/n) shrugged, fiddling with the straw of her drink to cast her view among the two teams. Her eyes laid on the female football players that Tommy were referring to, whom of which were all conversing with the players of Cellmoor. "They could be cracked."

The tallest, curly-haired, brunette girl looked to be kindly accepting a cup of water from their water girl on the end of the pitch. (Y/n) saw that she was in the midst of a conversation with Dream and Tina. A spark of excitement rose silently rose in (Y/n)'s system as soon as she saw her favourite Cellmoor player. She had lifted herself up very slightly in her chair to smile down at him, trying to look over the group of heads to see if he would look back. When he didn't, she just dipped back into her chair with a loud sigh.

"I mean, yeah. They're on the team for a reason." Techno chimed in, his attention complete focussed on his phone as he just murmured into the conversation.
