·˚· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ WHERE ALL THE COOL KIDS GO, chapter X

Having responsibilities really did have its ups and down.

Mainly downs,

but (Y/n) never complained.

Well.

She never complained in front of any teachers other than Miss Nihachu.

It wasn't just the fact that she never believed that any of the staff members would give her the time of day, but also because it felt pointless to argue because it would be like debating with a brick wall. The headmistress held the firm belief that just because (Y/n) was the best at the job, she was the perfect person to make, not just the head of the student council, but the student face of the school. Which was an awful idea, because (Y/n) hated it. She felt like she never got a moment of peace, even when she believed that she really did deserve it.

Whenever she found that she could, (Y/n) loved to get out of doing her responsibilities. The other members of the student council were among the smartest people that she knew and she was close friends with two of them. This meant that getting away with things that would usually get a student into a lot of trouble was practically a piece of cake for her. It was also a piece of cake to the rest of her friends that liked to sneak out.

(Y/n), Tubbo, and the Watsons very frequently snuck around the school after hours. Every time they did, they'd come up with a multitude of different excuses that they would blurt out in the case of an emergency. Thankfully for them, they never did end up getting caught, but it was always good to have a quick exit route in case things ever went south for them.

(Y/n), serving her time on duty to patrol the empty hallways in the middle of the night, lifted her phone screen up to squint at the mobile. Before she had done so, she flashed her torch up to the one camera that seemed to be turned on in the corridor she was stood in and glared at it until the little red blinking light turned off. Once it had done so, she clicked a button on her flashlight to turn it off and tilted her head down towards her phone, tapping her thumbs against the keyboard to send a message to the others.

"It's out." She texted in regards to the camera that had just shut down.

"Supply room seven on the second floor is unlocked. I'm already here with Tubbo." Wilbur's message popped up into the groupchat, followed by a little thumbs-up emoji that was sent by Tubbo just a few seconds later.

"I just left my room." Techno responded, his text bubble popping up in the chat. "Where are you, (Y/n/n)?"

"I'm on the second floor now. I'm on my way to the supply room." Her thumbs tapped silently in order to accompany the quietness in the hall. "I'll meet you there."

"K."

The message from Technoblade was received by her, and she just slid her phone back into the pockets of her school skirt. She hated that she still had to be in uniform for this meeting due to her supposedly on patrol, but she would do anything to meet with her friends. Besides, there was a little rush that came with doing things that were against the rules. Her still being in her blazer and tie made her seem even more rebellious than the others, even though they were all essentially doing the same thing.

(Y/n) stopped at every door, squinting at the signs and room numbers that were seen at each of the entrances to try and determine whether it was the room that she was looking for. She tried her best to do it without turning on the flashlight again, wanting to make as little light and as little noise as possible in order not to draw any attention to herself. She could safely say that she had memorised where every room was, but it seemed like something in her mind just skewed whenever it came to sneaking out when she wasn't supposed to.
