Val......

Tuesday.....

I was in the meeting room since 4 p.m. Me and Oscar were arranging something until the students starts coming and the meeting began. There are lots of suggestions, opinions, and concerns raised regarding the activities we are going to make but in the end, everything went well. We were the last ones who left the room, but before that, I asked Oscar what booth needs more volunteers.
"Here's the list bro" he answered. " You have not put your name yet?" He asked.
"Not yet, there was chaos in the front during the listing. So I decided to be in where I am needed the most"
" Well, check which booths need you most," he said laughing. He handed the volunteer list. I wrote my name under the booth that has fewer volunteers.

While we were walking out, I told Oscar and Roberto that I will be going home the coming weekend, and I may not be there in the activity for the whole time.
"No problem Bro, that's exactly the reason why we look for more volunteers in each booth because we all know that we cannot be there full time. You take care, are you going to take the bus again?" Oscar asked.
"Yes, you know I still don't have a car"
" Good luck to you, enjoy your five hours of travel bro" Roberto laughed at me.
" I know but I don't have food anymore, I need to get at least some supply and maybe some allowance," I told them.
" We understand you Bro, but why don't you get even just a second-hand car? I guess you can accumulate money for it if you start charging your Pre-calculus and Calculus tutorial man" Oscar gives me an idea. And he is right I can do that. Since a lot of students now asking me for an out-of-campus tutorial appointment I guess I can do it, maybe $10 per hour, if I have several students for a couple of months I can have an old car already. I tapped his shoulder and said, "Thank you, man, thats a great idea".

Thursday. [ Day that booth activity will start].

I didn't have an early class today so I went to the booth and start packing out all the books from the big boxes and putting them on display. I was there for approximately two hours already, and I started to wonder where is my fellow volunteer, Oscar mentioned to me yesterday that there will be another volunteer at 9 and it was already 30 minutes late. One thing that makes me upset is tardiness. Now, I am a little concerned that I may leave the booth with nobody because for the next hour I will have my class.

Several minutes passed...
I become busy assisting some students who asked me about certain books they were looking and suddenly they become silent and their eyes are only focused in one direction, so I follow what they are watching, and there she is, wearing a yellow dress, black strappy sandal and walking beautifully toward us, very unaware what's happening around her. For a moment I was glued to where I stand, like the other students who were with me, we were just following her every move. And as she came closer, one of us cleared his throat and I immediately turn my back and pretended to be busy with the books in front of me.

"Hi, good morning!" I heard her excited voice talking to someone. But because I don't wished to be involved in their conversation and am still in process of calming myself I continue pretending that I was checking some books.
After a long while, I didn't hear an answer from anyone, so I turn around to see what was happening but just to find her standing very close to me with a wide smile on her lips. I jumped to my feet and step back, she almost gave me a heart attack. I didn't know that she was that close to me.

"Ohh, Nelly! How are you? What are you doing here? I asked her little stammering.
" I volunteered for this booth!" She exclaimed excitedly.
" What!? Are you the volunteer??

" What!? Are you the volunteer??
