Chapter 11

Steve woke up to will snuggling to his back while he was spooning Robin. He smiled and raised his head up. El was cuddled against wild back, and Mike had made his way over next to her and was cuddling her back with his arm wrapped around her waist.

His eyes softened as he looked at will. He knew it would hurt will to see that, but he also knew will wanted to be around them.

He turned and looked over at Dustin. Him and Robin were facing each other. He was snuggled into her chest and she had her arms wrapped around him.

He smiled and laid back down. He loved this so much. He loved being with all of them, he loved knowing that even know they knew nothing about what was going on with him and Eddie (well most of them) and they still stayed with him. They loved him and Steve loved them back. He snuggled into robins back further and felt her turn her head slightly, yawning.

"Morning Stevie. How'd you sleep babe?"
He cuddled into her neck and sighs.

"Like a baby." She laughs and turns back around. Neither of them moved. They were so comfortable. Robin had kind of become the mom of the group, taking the role as the disciplinary parent.

Steve was more of the laid back dad figure who let them do whatever because he loved them and hated telling them no.

He felt Robin jerk again and knew she was back asleep. He sighed while smiling and closed his eyes. Sleep consuming him again.

"Steve. Steve." He felt his body bring shook and groaned. "Wake up! We made you breakfast." His eyes opened slightly and he could see Dustin smiling over him.

He brought his hand up to smack Dustin lightly. "Morning Henderson."

"Morning Steve. Now get up! We made you breakfast!" Steve smiled and stretched. His body felt more rested today then it had in weeks.

Dustin reached his hand out and Steve took it, pulling himself up as he hugged Dustin.

"You guys really made me food? Wow." Dustin nodded and pointed towards the kitchen. Robin was sitting next to el, they were giggling as the ate. Mike and will we're devouring their food, Steve smiled and shook his head. He made his way over and greeted everybody.

They joked and laughed as they ate, everyone was trying to make sure Steve felt better today. They saw the way he looked like lastnight, and it terrified them.

"You're so full of shit Dustin. Everyone knows I'm the smart one." Mike was standing next to Dustin, emphasizing his words with his hands as he spoke.

"No. You're the book smart one, I'm the street smart one. I've saved our asses more then once!" Will nodded in agreement and every r else followed suite. Mike scoffed saying "whatever man." As he claimed his seat next to will.

Steve sighed. "I think I'm gonna go shower and get changed. What time do you all have to be home today?"

"Not till late. We already called out parents." Steve nodded.

"Okay well, figure out what you little shits want to do today while I'm getting ready. Robin?" Robin laughs at el and glances to Steve.

"Make sure you're ready too. Are you coming with us today?" She nods and he sighs. He needed Robin to be with him today. She was his rock, his entire support system.

(Skip time) Steve was rinsing his body off when he heard the phone ring, he sighed and thought maybe it was his parents making their month phone call. He hated how much he didn't see them, but was finally starting to accept that it wasn't his fault. They needed to treat him as their child, not a stranger. He shouldn't have to make his parents want to spend time with him.
