Things had gotten better for everyone now, well almost everyone. Vecna was no longer a worry and the upside down was a distant thought. They no longer needed to worry about the world ending anymore and things were now settling into some what of a normality for them.

Nancy went back and was reporting again. Her stories were great, she focused on the real things and kept trying like hell to bring attention to the things she thought people needed to know.

Eddie had made a full recovery by some magical faith and was doing really well. Dustin never left his side threw any of it. He stayed with Eddie and made sure he was okay and Eddie did the same for Dustin. They had gotten extremely close in the past few months. Something that would have made Steve jealous before but now it made him smile, knowing that the two were friends and Dustin had another great male figure watching out for him and Eddie had finally gotten the family and brother he always dreamed of.

Robin and Steve were still doing their thing. Working at the videos store and hanging out, still gossiping about things and it was amazing. Robin even had a secret girlfriend. She wouldn't say who it was but Steve decided not to push it. He wanted Robin happy and whenever she was ready to tell him she would.

Mike and will had grown closer as well, they didn't come around much, but they had eachother and they seemed very content with that.

Lucas however was probably doing the worst. His mom had decided enough was enough and moved them as far away from Hawkins as she possibly could. He couldn't blame her but he did miss the smart ass little shit. He knew things had been bad for him. The worst actually especially with max being brain dead and all... she hadn't even made one single ounce of movement with her condition. It was like she was stuck, it was hard on all of them but her mom insisted on them trying to move on and be as happy as they possibly could. They still went and visited her but it wasn't very good when they did.

El was living with Joyce and will, they were one big happy family, with the exception of Jonathan. He had kind of distanced himself and left. He was going to find himself and Steve couldn't be mad at him for wanting that for himself. Hell he wanted that to but he could never leave his kids.

Steve and Robin were currently at work now, Steve was leaning on the counter and Robin was going on about her secret girlfriend. Steve was smiling at his friend. The way she talked about this girl was unlike anyone else.

"And she was like I mean eventually we'll have to tell your friends so you guys might be meeting her here in the next few weeks. Who knows." Robin smirked at Steve and he smiled widely at her.

"But you have to promise not to say anything when you figure out who it is, okay? It... might not be someone you suspected. Okay? Steve seriously.." Robin looked at Steve with a more serious look. Steve smiled and nodded.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Robin laughed and turned her head when she heard the front door ring, signally someone had just walked in. She smiled a wide smile and Steve looked over to find Eddie "the freak" Munson walking toward them with his signature grin. "Eddie! Hey. How are you?" Eddie leaned against the counter and glanced at Steve before he looked at Robin.

"I've been better. After being chewed on by weird ass bats." Him and Robin laughed and Steve just smiled. He couldn't bringing himself to joke about it yet. The memory of eddies lifeless body still fresh in his mind.

Eddie glances at Steve again and stands up straighter. "Anyways I was wondering if you guys had any good movies to recommend. I've been taking it easy lately and I'm getting bored of watching the same dumb shit Dustin brings over. I mean how many times can he watch Texas chain saw massacre?" Steve laughed at this and nodded.
