It was 10 o'clock and Robin was starting to worry. Steve was suppose to work today. They had both put in for the morning shift, but Steve never showed. I'm fast he hadn't showed up for a few days now.
Robin sat at the counter, nervously shaking her leg as she watched the door, hoping to see Steve coming threw it. She sighed and ran her hand down her face as another person came in, smiling as they walked to the counter.
"Hi. Can you tell me where to find the breakfast club?"
Robin nodded, pointing towards side of the store. "It should be right over there but if you have any trouble finding it just come find me." She smiled and the girl thanked her and made her way over to the shelf.
Robin sighed, resting her head in her hands as she flipped threw a magazine, trying to delay the anxiety racing threw her body.
After everything that had happened, she had a sinking feeling in her stomach that something had happened, especially since Eddie had ran right after Steve. She knew they had to of talked, at least a little. She could see the panic in Eddies face as he ran out.
Anger bubbled inside of her at the thought of Eddie. The way he looked so panicked, the way he ran after Steve. He knew he had messed up, he just didn't think Steve would find out. He was wrong.
"I found it!" The girl was wearing a huge smile as she held the tape up.
Robin smiled and grab the tape. "Great. Will this be all?"
The girl leaned against the counter, smiling as she nodded. Robin noticed the flirty way the girl looked at Robin. Her face heated up as she continued checking the movie out.
"God I'm so glad steve isn't here. He would be eating this up." She thought as she shook her head and smiled, handing the girl the tape.
"Have a nice day." The girl smiled back, making sure her hand brushed against robins as she grab the tape. Robin blushed slightly as the girl turned to leave. She watched her, wondering if she should stop her.
"Hey wai..."
But before she could say anything Eddie was walking past the girl, rushing to the counter. Her soft gaze turning into a harsh glare.
"Where's Steve?" Eddie looked behind her, craining his neck to look behind her.
She spoke coldly, continuing to glare at Eddie. "He's not here." She turned and started making her way towards the shelf with return takes in hand. She heard Eddies footsteps behind her.
"Is he home?" Robin rolled her eyes as she stopped at a shelf, putting the movies back into their specific spots.
"I don't know, but I highly doubt he'll want to see you." She glanced at Eddie, seeing the confused hurt look in his eyes.
"I don't understand..." Robin turned to walk past him, ignoring the hurt look.
"You need to leave."
"Why? What did I do?"
Robin scoffed, turning around fast. "You can not be serious right now?" She gave him a condescending smile, laughing a little.
"Yes! I am! He wouldn't even talk to me! Just kept telling him to leave!"
"Then take the hint." She turned back to the shelf, placing more movies back. He walked to the shelf infront of her, leaning on it as he scoffed.
"Can someone please tell me what I did? How am I suppose to fix it if I don't know?!"
Robin glanced at him, glaring a little. "You'll be lucky if he wants to fix it."
