A huge explosion echoed in the middle of the Rain City.

Choi Han, Rosalyn, and the rest looked out of the window. They were scavenging for books related to magic when the explosion happened.

"Cale-nim!" Choi Han jumps from the window, followed by everyone else. The dragons flew up and brought their people to the heart of the city.

Meanwhile.

Cale Henituse groaned. He felt the pain in his arm. He was bleeding. His right arm was bleeding furiously after that sudden attack. He looked at Bassen whom he shoved towards the shield and Athanasia in his arm.

"Your bleeding..."

He looked at his wife and said, "don't worry... I'm fine... It'll heal soon."

His clothes were dirty and tattered. The debris that hit him was scattered around his shield.

The previously black-haired man now looked like an older version of the shitty emperor.

"haha." The man laughed like some lunatic. "I didn't think anyone would be able to block it..."

Cale spits out the blood on his mouth. The metallic taste annoyed him.

"what do you want?"

"nothing..." the man replied, "ah no... I need the children from that woman's womb..."

Hearing that, Cale used the dominating aura to the fullest. The blood drench rock was also vibrating in his pocket.

"what?" Cale growled. His hand was holding Athanasia's hand.

"you didn't know?" the man said, "those children's time is twisted."

Cale was taken back. Even if he uses the annual rings, he can't see the children's time yet.

"Obelia has strict succession didn't you know? Powerful is born from life... it was the same with Claude and his mother... his mother was able to live longer but it was Claude who killed her... Claude devoured his mother... it's the same with the children inside her..." the man explained, "and it's not just any blood... Cale is getting angry at how he laughs.

In the blink of an eye, the blonde-haired man stood in front of Cale. it was so fast, that he didn't realize he was already standing in front of him, "now that I look at you clearly... aren't your time twisted too? You and that girl, have the same twisted time."

The ominous voice is filling Cale's head, "you're not from this world... so is the girl..."

Cale gathered some wind and aimed at the man before him.

The blonde man easily jumps with a bloodthirsty grin.

"KYAAH!"

"how fun... she can't control her mana right now!"

"CALE-NIM!"

Choi Han who first came launched an attack on the blonde man. He was able to get Athanasia from the man as he jumped back where Cale was.

"a swordmaster... it is an honor to meet a sword master in Rowoon... I am Anastasius de Alger Obelia... soon to be Emperor of Obelia..."

Anastasia?

Cale immediately remembered that this was the man that Claude killed before he ascends to the throne. But... "he's supposed to be dead."

"right... I am dead... but I came back alive..."
