The Rowoon Kingdom has fallen silent since the declaration of war.

After reading that, Anastasius burst out laughing. "For the hailed strongest Empire of the West!"

He's heard about the Kingdom's achievement. Cale Henituse, the husband of his lovely niece, Princess, was the ringleader of manslaughter on the battlefield. However, Obelia is not shaken by that.

Obelia's emperor wields the same power over its people as the Rowoon Empire. The only person who could possibly oppose him was Claude. He had planned the best counterattack with his niece in the midst of a massive magical circle.

"You're going to die soon anyway, so it's better to die now."

Athanasia locked her gaze on him.

"I'm not fond of that stare."

It reminded him of Claude. That cold stare, that powerful fluctuating mana of an enraged beast. It reminded him of the agony Claude had inflicted on him previously.

"You really are your father's daughter. That look disgusts me the most."

When a loud explosion rang out over Obelia, Anastasius was about to start a mana storm. Four massive dragons swarm over Obelia's skies. Wyverns were flying around, wreaking havoc in every corner of the imperial city.

Bright red hair flashed a dangerous warning among the flames and chaos that ensued. He stood atop a golden dragon, followed by a massive dragon bone covered in black webs and a black aura that wrapped around it like fire.

"Cale Henituse..." grins Anastasius. "That's his name, right?"

It's not the appearance of the Church of The God of Death's hailed saint.

"That's a reaper in human form."

"Prepare the knights!" Anastasius ordered.

However, another huge explosion rang out. He sees catapults launching magic-induced fireballs into the sky.

"Hah! He brought not only dragons but Rowoon's entire forces for a woman?"

Athanasia raised her head. She noticed her husband's cold glint in his eyes. He was looking down as if everything was boring him. It may appear cold, but it is filled with cold rage and patience not to destroy the kingdom.

She'd seen this scene before. A burning Obelia

She suspected someone, possibly the insurgents, but it never occurred to her that her husband could have been the one to burn Obelia to the ground. She couldn't stop getting goosebumps all over her body. Her husband had seemed a little fawny to her, but she had no idea he could look so menacing and terrifying on the battlefield.

It's just as the legends about him claim. Cale Henituse led the entire Rowoon Forces in their campaign against the northern kingdoms. He kept his daily life filled with plans as he won every major battle. In his final battle against the white-masked man, the entire Eastern and Western continents came to his aid. He brought chaos to Perthle City and foretold the confusion of the warfare Rowoon Kingdom was about to face.

He ended up leading the entire force through some of the war's most horrific battles, but he came to work hard on getting men and supplies.

Cale Henituse was the one who created the blood raining war over the skies of Obelia.

The forces were still blowing and raining, causing havoc on the outskirts. Athanasia couldn't help but feel fear.

[Mom.]

She looked at Raon who had been amassing mana despite being restricted with a mana restraint device. She can feel a bit of her mana back.

[Dad, brought a mana disturbance device. We can escape. He's always been ready.]
