I'm falling and I'm falling fast it's scaring me. I have been in a few relationships but I've never felt this way before.

Me and Nora aren't even together. What even are we.

I shake my head getting rid of those thoughts, we just got back to talking again I don't want to mess it up by asking what we are

I want to leave it like this. I rather everything stay the same than her rejecting me

I don't know what I would do or how I'm gonna live with myself if I lose her

Even if we are friends at least I am apart of her life. I am present and I'm with her everyday

I'm the one warming her bed. I'm the one being warmed by her no one else. She's mine. She just doesn't know it yet

"What are you thinking about" Nora questions as she plays with my hair. I can stay like this forever
Laying on top of her thighs as she reads and plays with my hair at two in the morning

"You" she shuts her book and smacks me with it then she looks at me and smiles "shut up" I chuckle switching positions

"I am tired can we go to sleep already" I ask her "Fine" she lets out a dramatic sigh getting up to place her book on her shelf filled with all types of books

We have been up since eight because she wanted to read a new book even though she has three she's in the process of reading

I lift the blanket patting down the spot in-front of me so we can cuddle she walks over and lays down

I am the big spoon as always "why are you so far away" I pull her by her waist pulling her closer to my liking "that's better" she laughs "you are dramatic"

I shut my eyes then open them again Nora taps on my shoulder remembering the lights aren't off "so..." she drags

"Who's gonna shut the lights" she asks and I look down at her shaking my head no "Not me" I say and raise my brow "you brung it up so you should shut it"

She lays there looking up at me with her big brown doe eyes "please I feel comfortable under here" she points to the covers

"Looks like we'll be sleeping with them on" I stubbornly answer "Come on you shut it" she whines

"Nope" I say it slowly to annoy her even more she huffs "fine" she gets up walking to the door where the light switch is placed

She shuts the light climbing back into bed "you are lazy" she says annoyed and I just smile

I pull her closer to me the room is cold and she has the right amount of body heat to keep us both warm and I just like her being in my arms

"Goodnight" I say and she follows up with a soft "goodnight" we shut our eyes waiting for the sleep to cave in

Ten minutes go by then fifthteen then thirty then a full hour
