Chapter Seven: Riches

Iruka calmed down, " Alright class, today I'll announce the team placements. This will be your genin team until you get promoted into a chūnin. These will be your commands raging from eight months to multiple years. Remember class, it's Konoha's commandeship that makes it the strongest out of the five villages " Iruka announced, at this point both Sasuke and Natsumi were smiling like dogs.

Naruto sighed and had to hold both of them down from jumping up and down like actual dogs. Iruka merely sighed at the sight.

" It's like the owner of two dogs holding the leash of both excited dogs " Iruka thought, the sight very assuming the chūnin.

" Alright then…let us start, Team One will consist of… " Iruka said with Naruto tuning out the noise and forcing Natsumi and Sasuke to sit on the floor.

" Team Seven will consist of Uzumaki Naruto, Uzumaki Natsumi, and Uchiha Sasuke, with their joūnin sensei being Kakashi Hatake " Iruka announced, Naruto smirked knowing he will be on the team with his sister and the boy that interests him.

There were many muttering around the area, but everybody was too scared of Naruto or Sasuke to voice their outrage.

" Team Eight will be different, it will consist of Hyūga Hinata, Aburame Shino, Inuzuka Kiba, and Haruno Sakura, with their joūnin sensei being Kurenai Yūhi " Iruka announced.

This time people did announce their outrageous thoughts, " That's insane, why do I get bug boy and the pink haired banshee!!! " Kiba Inuzuka yelled out while standing up.

While clearly human, he has several physical traits more akin to animals. Like most of his clan, he has messy brown hair, sharp black eyes with vertical slit-like pupils, pronounced canine teeth, and nails that he can change into claws. He also has the distinctive red fang markings of the Inuzuka clan on his cheeks.

Kiba's attire consisted of dark grayish pants reaching to his calves and a gray, hooded fur-lined coat, with the hood usually placed on his head, over an apparent plate of armor and fishnet undershirt, with a blue forehead protector and blue sandals.

" Yeah why do I have to be in a team with Ino~pig, dog breathe, and bug boy " Sakura Haruno yelled out, for the first time not using her screaming voice.

Iruka sighed and rubbed his nose where a scar was, " I didn't place you there Sakura, Kiba. If you have a problem with the placements, take it up with the hokage who did the placements, " Iruka said.

Like a flip had been switched, both Kiba and Sakura shut up. " Team Nine is still in circulation. Team Ten will consist of Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru, and Akimichi Chōji, your joūnin sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi " Iruka announced, Ino wisely shut up from saying anything.

" That's all. I want you to know that I believe all of you can be extraordinary shinobi that will achieve great things in life and in your career " Iruka said, and with that Iruka closed his folder and was about to exit the room.

Before he fully exited the room he stopped, " All of your joūnin sensei's will arrive within the hour, so stay here until then " Iruka said whole closing the door.

— Three Hours Later —

Natsumi banged her head for the thousandth time within two hours, her joūnin sensei still hasn't arrived and her older brother left five minutes after Iruka left.

Now it was only her and Sasuke waiting for their joūnin sensei, in that time Sasuke actually opened up a little about the hardships of his life and his ultimate goal.

Natsumi fully understood the goal, she would want vengeance if her older brother killed their family for no reason.

However, Natsumi does believe that if Naruto had a reason to kill the family, she would accept it if it was reasonable and actually true.
