Chapter Eighteen: Kakashi of the Sharingan

He felt a presence slightly equal to Kakashi, he hid his presence well but nothing can escape from Naruto.

Something moved in the bushes where Natsumi threw the kunai, without hesitation, Naruto imbued Wind Nature Chakra to his sword and slashed at the air.

The tree and multiple trees behind it were cut to pieces and the bushes were completely incinerated from existence.

Once the wind and smoke cleared, they saw a small white rabbit scared for its life since the kunai was only a few inches from its head and the wind slash was only a foot away from decapitating its head.

"Oh...it's just a rabbit," Tazuna said while wiping some sweat from his face. "Hm...Usuratonkachi, you even confused your own brother" Sasuke said while Natsumi rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment.

Unfortunately, Naruto and Kakashi didn't share the same thought.

"That's a snow rabbit, yet the session is spring. What's with its color? A snow rabbit changes color depending on the amount of sunlight they receive. This is a rabbit that's been kept in a cage for the purpose of body switching. So they're already here" Kakashi analyzed. He turned to Naruto who already figured it out a while ago.

Atop of the trees hiding his presence was a large man with an equally large sword. "I see...no wonder the demon brothers stood no chance. The hidden leaf's copy ninja, Kakashi of the Sharingan. He's truly a threat and I can't complete my mission with him here. But that boy next to him is strong as well, I could tell he's trying to sense me even when I'm constantly changing the direction of my chakra" thought the masked man with the large sword.

He smirked and pulled said large sword from his back. He stretched his arm revealing a pale muscular arm in the sunlight. With all his physical strength and no chakra enhancement, he threw the large blade towards the team.

"EVERYONE, GET DOWN!!" Kakashi and Naruto said in unison, Kakashi quickly rushed towards Tazuna and pulled him down while Naruto quickly grabbed Sasuke and Natsumi and pulled them downwards to the ground.

The moment their heads hit the ground, Naruto got up seeing the sword a few inches from his head.

Naruto quickly unsheathed faster than he has ever done and raised his zanpakuto to block the massive butcher blade coming his way.

The blade made contact with his zanpakuto pushing him back multiple feet with the blade still moving.

It was like moving the weight of a thousand mountains with a single sword, however, Naruto still persevered through the mountains with much effort.

"Damn it! I'm bout to lose my strength and death trying to block this massive blade, the best thing I can do is redirect this blade off to the distance" Naruto thought, throughout the entire experience he grind his teeth while pushing with all his strength, of course he didn't use his chakra or spiritual power, just pure physical strength.

He pushed further while moving his zanpakuto slightly right to some nearby tree, eventually, Naruto used all his physical strength into one push which pushed the massive blade to the nearby trees like Naruto wished but while going towards the trees, the blade swung and cut most of his right shoulder open.

Naruto was out of breath during that small struggle, he fell to his knees and wiped some sweat from his forehead.

The massive blade cut through some trees but eventually got jammed into one tree with a man quickly jumping on the blade handle.

Naruto finally caught his breath and stood up, facing the man which caused him a massive pain in the ass.

He was a tall and noticeably muscular man with light grayish skin, short spiky black hair, dark brown eyes, and small eyebrows. He was wearing bandages like a mask over the bottom half of his face. Under his mask, he had a relatively narrow jawline and jagged-teeth. He wore his forehead protector sideways on his head, he was seen shirtless, with his chest only covered by a belt to which he attached his Kubikiribōchō, wearing baggy pants with the striped pattern typical of Kirigakure and mimetic wrist-warmers extending up to his elbows, with matching leg-warmers.

"This guy is..." Kakashi thought while recognizing his face and the description the bingo book had of him.

"Well if it isn't Zabuza Momochi, one of the biggest traitors to the hidden mist since Kisame Hoshigaki" Kakashi said while pulling out a kunai, Kakashi, Sasuke, Natsumi, and Naruto all noticed the scowl he had when Kakashi mentioned Kisame Hoshigaki.

Naruto fully thought of a game plan to kill or capture Zabuza and wiped the dirt off his sword.

Naruto started to walk towards Zabuza but was stopped when Kakashi extended his arm to the right, stopping Naruto in his tracks.

"I know you, Kakashi of the Sharingan. But who are you? I've never seen a joūnin of your description" Zabuza said while pointing his finger towards Naruto.

Naruto scoffed and took a step back, "No shit you haven't seen me, mummy. After all, I'm only a genin of Konohagakure" Naruto responded while sheathing his Senbonzakura.

Zabuza grunted and jumped down, he grabbed his Kubikiribōchō and faced Kakashi on ground level.

"None of you interfere since you aren't strong enough to take him on," Kakashi said while getting into his battle stance.

"I'm deadass the strongest out of the team, so I'm more than capable of handling this soon-to-be pedophile" Naruto thought while getting into position with his team to protect Tazuna who was shitting himself.

"This will be a little tough if I don't go all out in this battle," Kakashi said while grabbing his headband.
