Chapter Nine: Bell Test

" Are you really hiding the truth from me…Izumi? "

— Next Day —

In the middle of an open space, three individuals could be seen. The first one was none other than the village pariah and demon, Uzumaki Natsumi. The second one was none other than the parish's brother and Konohagakure's Judge, Jury and Executioner, Uzumaki Naruto. The third one was the village's golden boy and prince, Uchiha Sasuke.

They were all currently waiting for their sensei, Hatake Kakashi. He was three hours late, none of them were talking but each of them were in their own thoughts.

' I wonder what type of ramen should get from Ichiraku Ramen, '

' Should I cut his balls or head off for wasting my time like this, I bet I could easily match him in battle or even beat him, '

' Was there really a second truth behind the massacre? Was even the first truth real? I have no way of determining what's the truth or false until I've meet Izumi once again, '

Their thoughts were interrupted when a cloud of smoke appeared in front of them to reveal Kakashi, almost immediately Kakashi raised his hands.

" Considering how you have your hand on your sword…I assume you want to decapitate me or cut off my balls, " Kakashi said in surrender, Naruto sighed and nodded his head.

Kakashi opened his left chest pouch where a timer was located at, " It's set for noon, we have about three hours until then, " Kakashi announced while placing the timer on the wooden post.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Natsumi nodded their heads and waited for Kakashi to continue. " Your task is to collect those two bells, by the time this timer goes off and you do not have one of the bells. You'll be sent to the academy, " Kakashi announced, and almost immediately Naruto figured out how to get the bell and the true meaning of the bell test.

'Hmm…that lying one eyed bastard, there's never been a three man cell before. It's also a four man cell with one of them being the joūnin sensei and the other three the genin, so this test isn't about getting the best so there's a hidden meaning behind the test. Knowing Konohagakure and how they always trust and protect your commandes code, it's probably something to do with teamwork' Naruto thought within a few milliseconds.

" In summary, one of you three has to get one bell to pass those exams. The unlucky three members will be sent back to the academy where he or she will have to redo the entire academy course, " Kakashi explained with an eye smile.

" Let's begin, " Kakashi said, almost immediately both Sasuke and Naruto left the open field with only Natsumi remaining.

" Oh…aren't you a brave one? Well let's see what you got, " Kakashi said, however, it was Natsumi who acted first.

Kakashi was very assumed to watch Natsumi rushing at him, she was running in mide chūnin speeds which is nowhere near her older brother's speed.

Kakashi dodged a right hook then an elbow to his ribs with an under kick, while Kakashi could easily dodged and react to this, he was still impressed at the level of taijutsu and speed his female genin is showing.

However, Kakashi decided to have some fun. Natsumi and Kakashi face each other, Kakashi reaches for his left right pouch with Natsumi tensing up.

Kakashi opened the pouch and pulled out an orange book, Natsumi sweatdropped at the actions of her sensei.

" This right here my female genin is none other than the book of the gods, " Kakashi said proudly while puffing out his chest.

" Ew…that isn't the ' book of the gods ', that's the book of the perverts. I've caught Naruto~Ni and Hokage~jiji reading the book before in their own time. It's perverted and should be burn all across the elemental continent!!, " Natsumi yelled unintentionally going on a rant about the supposed ' book of the gods '.
