Chapter Three: Graduation Exam

— Start of Chapter 3: Graduation Exam —

Hiruzen Sarutobi was having one of his few decent days, the council hasn't complained about anything.

His old teammate hasn't entered his office talking nonsense about Natsumi. However, all good things must come to an end.

The door to the hokage door was being knocked at, Hiruzen sighed fully expecting his assistant telling him that the council requires his presence or his crazy teammates.

" Enter, " Hiruzen said, the door opened to reveal not his teammates or his assistant, but one of his best kunoichi.

" What could I do for you, Izumi~chan " Hiruzen asked in a grandfatherly way, currently she was in her anbu outfit. However, all of Team Ro, the bodyguards of the hokage know Izumi personally to some degree.

" I found some potential in a certain shinobi, I request that this shinobi would be recommended to the anbu black ops' ' Izumi said respectfully while bowing her head.

This actually caught Hiruzen's attention, it is not everyday one of the most profound prodigy in his forces recommends somebody.

" Who might this promising individual be? " Hiruzen asked with a raised eyebrow. Izumi was about to speak but she suddenly frowned before going to a face of concentration.

" I forgot to ask his name, " Izumi said sheepishly while rubbing her forehead. Hiruzen couldn't help but to chuckle at her, every once and a while this happens when one of his shinobi makes a mistake and it also remains Hiruzen that they still have humanity in them and the job hasn't got to them fully.

" That's fine, Izumi~chan. Just describe him and maybe I'll be able to figure out who he is " Hiruzen explained while Izumi nodded.

" He's about my height with pure black hair tied into a ponytail with bangs covering most of his left forehead, he wore a white kimono-style outfit with dark blue kimono pants with a black obi holding it all together " Izumi explained, while Hiruzen's eyes widened at that information, he only known one person that fit that description.

" You're talking about Uzumaki Naruto, the older twin brother of Uzumaki Natsumi, " Hiruzen revealed. Izumi's eyes widened at that information. She was sent on missions to watch and protect Uzumaki Natsumi during a certain period of time.

" His looks alone had many people mistaken about his age, plus his extreme maturity you might easily think he's thirteen to sixteen years old, " Hiruzen explained while Izumi nodded her head.

" Anyways, I know Uzumaki Naruto was strong. However, what made him strong to the point of joining the Anbu black Ops at six years old " Hiruzen said.

" Well…like I said, he has a massive amount of potential. His speed could match Gai~san with his weights on and his battle intelligence and thought process is incredible, his able to go one to one with me in a spar while using my sharingan " Izumi explained, Hiruzen's eyes widened that the confidence the first born daughter of the Uchiha clan head said.

" Dog, Cat, get Uzumaki Naruto and bring him to my office " Hiruzen said supposedly nothing. However, two people came from the shadows of the room.

The first one was a tall individual with gray hair that spiked all around his mask, his right eye was black with the left eye had the legendary Uchiha dōjutsu, it was obvious his left eye had a scar. He wore the simple anbu outfit with a white uwa-obi symbolizing the fact he's an anbu captain.

The second one is a young woman with straight, purple hair reaching down to her waist, warm brown eyes. She wears a porcelain mask resembling a cat with three red stripes — one vertical stripe on the forehead and two horizontal stripes, one on each cheek. She also wears the standard Anbu uniform, consisting of black and gray armor, metal arm guards and a katana strapped to her back. She has the signature Anbu tattoo on her right shoulder.
