Chapter 11: Eternal

"I knew that Heaven would find out." Jin whispers and clenches his fists as Hoseok tells them what Jisung warned him about.

"We don't know if Michael knows that Namjoon did it. He just wants him for some unknown reason. It's probably to have Namjoon find Jungkook." Hoseok points out.

"If Michael wants me, I will go to him." Namjoon answers to Jin's surprise.

"No! You would be in danger. Michael's temper is unpredictable. You will stay in my territory. I won't let him hurt you." Jin argues and vigorously shakes his head.

"It will be more suspicious if he stays hidden in your territory. It might be best for him to willingly go to Michael. I will go with him." Hoseok responds while Jin nervously clutches his shirt.

"You're right, but ... I'm scared." Jin whispers as a tear trickles down his face.

"My little demon, don't worry." Namjoon softly hums and wraps Jin in his arms.

"Michael and Namjoon are on the same level. Remember, Namjoon is an archangel. If Michael wanted to claim that Namjoon did something illegal, he'd have to have completely solid evidence." Hoseok softly tells Jin as he clings to his lover.

"Be extra careful." Jin whispers and rests his head against Namjoon's chest.

"I will. I will be back before you know it." Namjoon softly smiles and kisses the crown of Jin's head.

"I will tell Jisung to come with us, so he can earn the credit for bringing Uriel back to Heaven." Hoseok tells Jin and Namjoon.

When Jisung arrives, he nervously bows to Jin and Namjoon. As Namjoon lets go of Jin's hand, Jungkook and Yoongi arrive with Taehyung and Jimin.

"Jin, it will be ok." Yoongi softly tells the nervous demon.

Jin quietly nods and lets go of Namjoon's hand. Once Jin lets go, Namjoon softly smiles at him, unfurls his wings, and disappears in a blinding flash of light.

When they arrive in Heaven, the angels begin to whisper amongst themselves. Namjoon ignores the whispers and follows the nervous angel.

"Uriel, it has been too long since you've been home." Michael's voice booms throughout the entirety of Heaven.

"I am not a human child. I can come and go as I please." Namjoon answers and walks into the room where Michael is waiting for him.

"I heard that you are traipsing around with that useless demon, Fate. He can never seem to do his job right." Michael scoffs as he looks at the angel who is glaring at him.

"He can never fulfill his duty because you are always interfering." Namjoon growls as he tries to control his temper.

"Tell me, Uriel, since you are always with him, you must have seen how he manipulated the souls to hide them from us." Michael sneers and walks over to Namjoon.

"I do not know what you are talking about. I have never seen him manipulate souls. Souls naturally change with every cycle." Namjoon answers and looks into Michael's eyes.

"They naturally change? Then how come they have not changed for thousands of years but suddenly changed this life?" Michael snarls as he gets into Namjoon's face.

"Souls are ever changing energy. They are autonomous energy and can do whatever they wish. I do not know why they change nor why they change when they decide to change." Namjoon calmly answers without breaking eye contact.

"I did not call you here to argue. You clearly know more about souls than I do. I called you here to tell you to bring Purity to Heaven. Get him away from Sin. It is despicable that we were unable to find him before that filthy demon did, but you can find him since you can see all souls no matter where they are. Also, he has been spotted with your friend, Fate. Fate's little brother is the one who has Purity, so you should be able to easily bring Purity here." Michael gives up and takes a step back from Namjoon.
