Chapter 34: Intrigue

"Taehyung, Jimin, how do you feel?" Jin asks once the two human souls take shape in Heaven.

"I'm fine." Taehyung answers and looks at his glowing hands.

"Me too." Jimin answers as he observes his glowing body.

"I have made it to where your souls are not easily found by other beings, so it will be harder for angels to sense you two." Jin explains as they look at the building they need to sneak into.

"That sounds good with me." Taehyung smiles and looks at the demon.

"When you two enter into the building, go to where the building splits into two hallways then turn right and follow the really long hallway. The large room at the very end is where they will be keeping Namjoon's wings and sword. Jisung and I will keep watch outside of the building as you two sneak around while Jin stays here to guard our exit from Heaven." Hoseok explains as he hands cloaks to the two humans.

"You'll need to wear the cloaks to hide your glowing bodies. Humans who have died do not glow. Since you two are still alive, you glow." Jisung explains as he helps them hide their shimmering bodies.

"Just a question, but are we naked?" Jimin asks as he wraps the cloak around himself.

"Technically, yes." Jin chuckles and makes sure they are well hidden.

"Wow." Taehyung mutters and covers his front with his hands. "This means that I was naked last time as well." The human gasps in horror.

"Don't worry. No one in Heaven really cares about clothing." Hoseok chuckles and pats both bewildered humans on the back.

"We do though." Taehyung mumbles with a frown then looks at the building he and Jimin are about to sneak into. "Let's go." He stands up straight and squares his shoulders then walks towards the building with as much confidence as he can muster.

Jimin quickly walks by his friend's side as the demon and two angels watch them leave. As they grow closer to the building, Jimin reaches his hand out to Taehyung and holds his friend's hand. "For the angel who protects us." Jimin whispers and smiles at Taehyung.

"For our guardian angel." Taehyung smiles and tightens his grip around Jimin's hand.

When they walk up to the large steps leading up to the large entrance, the two small humans take a deep breath and look up at the large golden doors. As they climb up the large steps, their grip tightens around each other's hands. They both release their pent up breath when they reach the large doors.

"We just have to push them open." Jimin whispers and places his hand on the large golden door.

"Push." Taehyung mumbles and presses his entire weight against one of the large golden doors. They both grunt with all of their strength. As they struggle with the door, Hoseok flicks his fingers and helps them open the doors a crack.

"Finally." Jimin pants as he and Taehyung squeeze through the crack that is just big enough to let them into the large building.

"I can't believe that we are just walking in through the front doors." Taehyung mumbles and scurries through the large building to the hallway split that Hoseok had described to them.

Once Taehyung and Jimin are inside the large building, Hoseok and Jisung stand guard at the doors.

As the two humans quickly make their way to the room with the wings of many beings, the large archangel in the heavenly library senses their presence in Heaven. He softly chuckles and watches the two small human souls scurry through Heaven like curious kittens.

"You two are quite brave little souls." He smiles and waits for the two humans to reach the doors of the wing room. When they reach the doors, he flicks his index finger and opens the door for them.
