Chapter 24: Desire's Love

"My Lord, how may I assist you?" The man in red robes with a golden dragon bows to the demon who is holding the sleeping human boy.

"Raise him as your oldest son." Yoongi responds as he gently holds Jimin.

"Why, my Lord?" The man asks in surprise as he looks at the small child who is wearing tattered clothing made from the poorest of cloth.

"Are you questioning me?" Yoongi hisses in anger as his eyes flash red. "Do not forget whose soul I hold in the palms of my hands." The demon threatens as Jimin quietly mumbles in his sleep.

"I will do as you wish. He will become the Crown Prince." The King gets on his knees bows to Yoongi.

"If I find out that he is being abused in any way, I will kill you and eat your soul." Yoongi warns as he hands the small boy to the head eunuch.

"He will be raised with the utmost care."  The King answers as he stays bowed to the ground.

"I will stay until he wakes up." Yoongi hums and follows the eunuch to the Crown Prince's room. He takes Jimin from the eunuch and makes sure that the chaos around them does not wake the boy up. He watches as the Queen screams in anger as her oldest son is moved out of his quarters. "Woman, shut up." Yoongi hisses as he protectively covers Jimin's ears.

The Queen looks at the demon in shock then cowers away in fear.

"How dare you speak to the Queen like this?!" The young Crown Prince screams in anger as he charges at Yoongi.

"Kneel." Yoongi growls as his eyes flash red.

"Crown Prince!" The Queen shouts and runs over to her son.

"How dare you call him that? He is no longer the Crown Prince, nor is he your son anymore." Yoongi snarls as he forces her to her knees as well. "Get them out of here." Yoongi commands to the Royal Guards who all bow in obedience and finish clearing the Crown Prince's quarters.

"Why are you doing this?" The Queen asks as she stays bowed to the ground.

"I am putting this boy on the throne. Your son is rotten to the core. I promised to protect this kingdom; therefore, I will keep my promise. This boy will be a better King." The demon answers as he gently lays Jimin on the bed then covers him with the blankets.

"That is my bed!" The Crown Prince shouts in anger as he tries to enter the room.

"It is no longer your bed. None of this is yours anymore. Take the Crown Prince garments off of him." Yoongi instructs the servants as he gently places his hand on Jimin's head.

The King watches in horror as the demon he sold his soul to wreaks havoc. The demon grins when he sees the King's helplessness.

"What have I done for my son to receive your anger?" The King asks as he grovels in front of the demon.

"Why don't you ask your son?" Yoongi grins and looks at the now terrified prince. "Should I tell the King what sin you have committed?" The demon happily hums and watches as the prince sweats in fear. "I guess I will have to since you don't seem to be speaking anytime soon. I don't care that you have had sex with men; however, you mock them and kill them afterwards. How dare a mere human like you treat others as less?" 

The King and Queen look at their son in horror as the many concubines and their children gather outside to see what is going on. The Queen's screams fill the palace as the mutilated dead bodies of the once Crown Prince's lovers suddenly appear .
