"Seojoon! WAIT!" Hoseok shouts as he runs as fast as he can after the large demon. The angel reaches his hand out to grab the large demon with ruby red hair.

Right as the demon turns to look at the angel, the small angel trips over his own feet and falls to the ground, so the demon quickly reaches his arms out and catches the startled angel.

"You've never been the best runner." Seojoon chuckles as he holds the panting angel in his arms.

"You disappeared for 500 years then you suddenly showed up in front of me. I am sorry that I reacted that way." Hoseok mutters as he looks up at the handsome demon.

"Many things happened. I'm sorry that I suddenly disappeared." The demon softly smiles and helps Hoseok stand up.

"What happened? Why did you suddenly disappear? I was so angry and wanted to talk to you, but you never showed up. I've just been getting angrier and angrier, but you never came back. I had so many questions, but-"

"I know. I am sorry." The demon hums and hugs the angel who is going through a million emotions at one time.

"You smiled; even though, I was being cruel." Hoseok whispers and gently cradles the demon's face in his hands.

"You told me to smile." Seojoon responds and nuzzles his face in Hoseok's hands.

"You are not a monster. I am so sorry." Hoseok sobs and hugs the large demon.

"Shh, it's ok. Don't cry." Seojoon whispers and gently rocks the angel in his arms.

"I promised to not judge you like others do. I promised, but I broke my promise. I am so sorry."

"You've been alone and in pain. I know that you did not mean anything you said." Seojoon gently hums and lifts Hoseok into his arms then suddenly takes the angel to his territory.

"This place has not changed." Hoseok gasps in surprise and happiness as he looks around the gorgeous beach.

"It hasn't." Seojoon smiles as he watches Hoseok wade out into the warm crystal clear ocean.

"I've missed you." Hoseok barely whispers as his tears fall to the ocean water lapping at his ankles.

"Me too." The demon hums and wraps his arms around Hoseok.

"I'm afraid that I will wake up, and you will not be with me." Hoseok sorrowfully mutters as he looks out at the endless ocean.

"I am sorry. I never wanted to leave you." Seojoon whispers and buries his face in the crook of Hoseok's neck.

"I've spent endless nights with random humans to try and forget you." The angel mumbles quietly and closes his eyes.

"I hurt you. I am so sorry." The demon cries and tightens his hold around Hoseok.

"I was so angry because Jin was unable to break the golden and black string tying us together. I wanted to forget you and move on." Hoseok murmurs with pain in his voice.

Seojoon's broken sobs fill the solitary beach as he clings to the angel in his arms.

"But, I am suddenly grateful that he was not able to. I would have regretted it being severed the moment it severed." The angel whispers and turns in the demon's arms to face the sobbing demon. "What happened to you? Will you tell me?" Hoseok gently asks and cradles the large demon's face in his hands,

"If I tell you, you will be in pain. Can you just trust me?" Seojoon sniffles as he tries to stop crying.

"I trust you which is why I want you to tell me what happened. I know you. What angered me the most was my fear. I was so afraid because I knew something happened, and I felt so helpless." Hoseok responds and gently kisses the demon's forehead.
