Hawk sat on the sofa with a black eye because of the punch. He was counting all the money he's got for the bill. He's got nowhere near enough.
He started to cry at the thought of why his life has to be like this. Why did he have to be born into such a shitty life? The only good thing about his life in his opinion was y/n and demetri.
As he was crying y/n came down.
"Hey aren't you supposed to be getting ready for bed" he asked quickly wiping his tears before she noticed.
She didn't say anything she just ran to him and hugged him.
" What was that for" he asked when she pulled away and sat next to him.
" You know I have to do a project on my hero for school" y/n said
" Yeah and who are you going to pick" he asked.
" You" she replied.
Hawks face softened.
" You are the best brother ever. In fact your like a dad to me. You put me before you all the time. You get up everyday and keep everything In order like a pro even if your your not feeling up to it. Your amazing. Your the strongest person I know and I hope I can be like you some day. I love you" y/n said making hawks heart flutter.
Hawk hugged her.
" Y/n I love you too and thank you for that I really needed that" he smiled.
" No thank you for everything you do. Thanks for taking care of me and being the parent figure mum could never be" y/n said.
Hawk started to cry more but happy tears this time.
" Don't have to thank me. I'm not just going to leave you to suffer on your own. We're together forever because we're siblings and I'll always be there for no matter what" he hugged her tightly.
They both sat there cuddling for a while.
" Anyway go get to bed. I'll come and tuck you in a second" he said making her go upstairs.
Once she was upstairs he stopped crying and tried to gather more money before he tucked y/n in.
