Y/n woke up before hawk today. She was sat next to him scared because she had to go back to school today. Everyone in her school must know about the whole social services custody abuse thing. She just knew she was going to get bullied. Y/n was just becoming afraid of everyone. The Only person she trusts is hawk.
Hawk finally woke up and saw y/n sitting next to him awake.
"Oh good morning how long have you been awake"he asked sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
" A while" she replied timidly.
Hawk noticed her scared timid voice and instantly started to worry.
" Hey are you alright" hawk asked taking her hand.
Y/n just her nodded.
" Well what's wrong" hawk asked.
Y/n debates whether or not she should tell hawk. He's already got a lot going on and she doesn't want to dump anymore stress on him.
" You know what it doesn't matter" y/n said.
Y/n tried to get out of bed but hawk gently pulled her back in and made her hug him.
" Hey I'm your brother I can tell something is wrong. You can tell me anything. I just want to help like always" hawk said.
Y/n pulled away from the hug and looked at hawk.
"People are going to make fun of me because of David and social services and me being in hospital because David kicked the shit out of me" y/n said looking to the floor.
Hawk grabbed her chin and made her make eye contact with him.
" Probably because school kids are the worse but it doesn't matter what they think and if they do just punch them again I won't mind you getting suspended again if defending yourself" hawk smiled.
Y/n smiled and hugged hawk.
" Thanks hawk" y/n smiled.
After a while of hugging they decided to finally get ready. Hawk was making breakfast while y/n got ready. While hawk was doing that David came over to him and snatched the coffee out of his hand.
Hawk rolled his eyes.
When David was putting the coffee back he hit hawks arm with it making his arm burn. Hawk groaned and held his arm In pain. He just stood there when y/n came down and he faked a smile like he always does for y/n.
" Oh your ready?"he asked clearly still in pain.
Y/n was about to reply but noticed the burn mark on his arm.
" Oh my god are you okay" y/n said going to get a icepack.
" Yeah I'm fine don't worry" hawk said putting the icepack on his arm.
After his arm started to feel better hawk and y/n started walking to school.
Once they arrived outside hawk gave her the biggest hug.
" Don't worry about the bullies okay you've dealt with bigger and scarier" hawk said reassuring her.
Y/n smiled and nodded.
" Okay hawk I love you and I'll see you after work when you come and pick me up from demetris" y/n waved at him while walking into school
" Yeah I love you too" hawk shouted.
Hawk smiled at the thought of everything going back to normal. Well what he's used to until he remembered it's not David is still here which is unusual because his mom never dates anyone for this long. Hawk look at the burn mark on his arm and felt a tear in his eye. He started to walk to work trying to think of a way to get rid of David because collecting evidence is going to take to long but the last time he tried to beat the shit out of him he got knocked out.
