Hawk and y/n sat next to each other In court. Hawks leg kept bouncing due to him being anxious. Y/n noticed it and grabbed his knee. He looked at her and smiled.
" All rise" the judge said.
Everyone stood up and hawk looked across to see his mom and David. His mom looked like she smoked something before she came in.
" So we are here today to choose the person who's going to have custody of y/n. First we'll hear from the victim herself" judge said.
Y/n stood nervously and looked at hawk for comfort. He smiled and that kinda calmed her down.
" As for as long as I remember my brother Eli moskowitz has always taken care of me. He does the things my mum can't be bothered to do like he tucks me in and read me bedtime stories and helps me when I have a nightmare, he helps me with my homework and he does all the other things that my mum should do like pay the bills and rent. He dropped out of school and got 3 jobs for that and he cooks and cleans while my mum is fucking some guy while she's drunk and he makes sure none of them hurt me. He doesn't give a shit about himself getting hurt because when it comes to protecting me he does it In a heartbeat. So please let him have full custody of Me because he's the only person I feel safe and loved with" y/n said with tears falling down her face.
She sat back down and hawk was crying too.
" Okay thank you miss moskowitz that was beautiful" she said.
Next up was hawk. He already knew what experience he was going to talk about. It was the most painful memory he had.
