First up to speak was hawk. He needed help getting on the stand but when he was up there he started panicking. He thought he was going to miss out something that happened to him.
" Mr moskowitz please tell us the abuse your mum and your step dad put you through" the judge said.
He stood there silently for a minute on the verge of tears. He hates talking about this.
" Your honor ever since I was born I've had to vent for myself because my mom couldn't be bothered to take care of me. She wouldn't feed me so I would have to eat out of the neighbors trash cans and eat any food they wouldn't want. I would have to get myself up and ready for school and walk there all by myself while I watch all the other kids parents drop them off and tell them to have a good day and that's all I wanted. Then I would go home to my mum fucking some random guy that I knew was going to beat the shit out of me. The first ever one touched me in places I wouldn't want to be touched in and when I told my mom about it she told me to stop crying like a little girl. After that it just kept getting worse. They would throw me downstairs and hit my head off a table and knocked me out. They would kick me out of the house and leave me to sleep on the streets even if I was freezing. Then my mum got pregnant again and I just knew I would have to look after that baby even though I have no idea how to take care of one. So I was scared but the minute she was born I don't know I felt less lonely. I felt like I finally had a friend. So I took care of her and made a promise that I wouldn't let anybody hurt her and I've been doing a great job of that up until recently. Recently David has come into our lives and hurt me In the worse way possible. By hurting my y/n my sister. He punched her in the face for defending me and then punched me In the stomach. He even hurt me before they got together he punched me for defending my sister but that's not the worse of it. I went to confront him one night and my mum knocked me out and laughed just like always she always laughed when I got hurt or y/n got hurt. She even laughed when he broke my leg and raped my sister. She forced me to watch and I'm never going to forgive myself for that. I know I was in pain but I should of tried harder to protect her but I failed. I'm the worse brother but I promise I'm never going to let any of the others hurt y/n. So please send these dickheads to jail and let me take care of y/n because she deserves to live happily and so do I. Thank you." Hawk said crying his eyes out. He looked at y/n who was crying In demetris arms. This made him cry harder. he was sick of her living miserably because of David and mum.
He got off the stand with help and went over to them trying to stop crying but he couldn't. Demetri took his hand to comfort him while y/n quickly hugged him before she had to go on the stand.
