Everyone went to the police station to do a statement.
The police officer first went to speak to hawk first.
" Eli moskowitz thank you for waiting" the detective said.
Hawk smiled. Hawk was really nervous about this statement because he's never really spoke about the things that happened to him and when he did no one believed him.
" So tell me in your own words the abuse you've been through" the detective said.
Hawk swallowed the lump in his throat but a tear fell down his face.
" I've been abused my entire life by step dad after step dad. When I was little my mum would go out on benders and leave me all alone terrified in a dark house and when she would return she would puke everywhere and I would have to pull her upstairs by myself and make sure she was okay. I don't why I bothered because she doesn't give a shit if I'm okay or not but back then I was a gullible kid. I thought she loved me but she didn't. She never has because if she did she wouldn't laugh everytime I got hurt but she's never physically hurt me until recently but she's definitely mentally hurt me a lot in the past. These past couple of days my mum's hit me over the head with a pan and knocked me out and she laughed when David broke my leg and r-raped my sister while she was unconscious and she grabbed me and forced me to watch. What sort of person let's this happen to there kids? And that's not even the first time she laughed at her kid when they were getting touched inappropriately. She laughed when I told her I was touched inappropriately when I was 7. She told me to stop crying like a little girl but it got worse when my sister was born. She would leave me to take care of a baby even though I had no idea how to but I tried because she's my sister and I love her and I made a promise to never let anyone hurt her but I failed and I'm never going to forgive myself for that" hawk was really crying at this point.
The officers looked at him with sympathy.
" I'm truly sorry about that. No kid deserves that" the officer said.
After they left hawk who was crying his eyes out. All of the physical and mental pain that's happened to him was really affecting him in this moment even though it always has.
