Bailey's POV

I was in chemistry class and I was working on a worksheet when Evie started to dig in her purse.

Mr. Delay- Looking for something? Thank you, Chad. It's gratifying to see someone still respect's the honor code. It will be my recommendation that you are expelled.

Evie- Mr. Delay, I...

Doug- But that isn't fair. Obviously, she wasn't cheating since she has that... whatever it is.

Evie- It's called a magic mir...

Doug- You're not helping. Stop. Maybe she needed another pencil

Evie- Actually, I was...

Doug- Really, don't help. Please.

Evie- Please.

Mr. Delay- Well. If you can pass this test, I'll return your property and let the matter drop.

I can't believe that just happen. When I lifted my head I saw Evie and Chad glaring at each other. When class got dismissed, Doug and I went to a picnic table because I was struggling with a problem. Just then, Evie came up behind Doug.

Evie- For the first time, it's like im more than just a pretty face.

Doug- A shocker, huh?

Bailey- You were pretty great in there.

Evie- Thanks, Bails.

Doug- So was I!

Evie and I looked at each other and laughed.

Evie- I bet I can get an A on the next test without the mirror.

Doug- Yeah. Well, maybe we can get together and well hag out with...

Evie- Yeah, let's get together.

Just then, Mal came from nowhere and sounded frustrated.

Mal- There you are! I have been looking for you literally everywhere!

Evie- What's wrong?

Mal- Ben just asked me out on... a date.

Doug- Nice.

Bailey- How fun!

Evie- We can handle this. Bye.

Doug and Bailey- Bye.

Bailey- Sorry Doug but I gotta get going. I have a date with Carlos.

Doug- That's okay. If you need any more help just come find me.

I gave him the thumb up. It was now time to go on my date with Carlos. I am so excited. When I got to my room. I started to freak out because I don't know what to wear. So I called my mom.

Mom- Bailey, what's wrong?

Bailey- I have a date and im stressing because I don't know what to wear.

Mom- Okay, sweetie calm down, I got you.

Mom went into my closet and picked out a dress that would look good for my date tonight. Then she brought me over to my vanity and started doing my makeup.

Bailey- Mom, easy on the blush. I don't want to scare him away.

Mom- Please. I've been doing this for years before you and your brother were born. All right, all done. Let's get you dressed.

Mom helped me into the dress and zipped up the back.

Mom- Ready?

Bailey- Yeah.
