Mal: Once upon a time, long, long ago. Well more like 20 years ago. Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest, personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected King of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks, basically all the really interesting people, and he booted them off to the Isle of the Lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood. No magic. No Wi-Fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hold on, you’re about to meet us. But first this happened.
*15 years ago*
Belle’s POV
I have just given birth to the cutest set of twins ever. I was laying in bed with ****** in my arms and my husband Adam, was holding ********. My doctor came in with some pieces of paper.
Doctor- Do you have any names for the twins yet your majesty?
Adam and I looked at each other with smiles on our faces.
Adam- This right here is Benjamin.
Belle- And this right here is Bailey.
The doctor writes those down on the papers.
Doctor- Those are some beautiful name choices right there, your majestys.
Belle and Adam looked at each other with smiles on their faces. Belle then yawned out of nowhere.
Adam- Tired?
Belle- Indeed, these two took my energy out.
Adam- How about I put these two to bed so that you and I could get a good night's rest.
Belle then nodded. Adam went to put Ben in his crib. Adam tucked him in his swaddle. He then went to his beautiful wife and grabbed his daughter, Bailey. When he was holding Bailey, she opened her eyes and smiled at her dad. He smiled back at her. Adam also put her in her crib and also in her swaddle. He walked away very quietly and got into bed with his sleeping wife. He gave her a kiss on the head and went to sleep.
*Skip a couple hours*
Belle woke up to one of the twins crying. When she opened her eyes, she saw a glowing green color and a person with horns standing next to Bailey. She shoock Adam awake. When Adam opened his eyes, he shot out of bed.
Adam- Who are you and what are you doing here?!
???- You dont know who I am? I am Maleficent. I am here to give a gift to the child.
Belle- There is no need for a gift right now.
Maleficent turned her head and “sh” Belle.
Maleficent started to swirl her finger.
Maleficent- Listen well you two. The princess shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who meet her. But on her 18th birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death, a sleep from which she will never awaken.
Adam- Maleficent please dont do this, we beg you.
Maleficent- All right. The princess can be woken from her death sleep, but only by true love’s kiss. This curse will last till the end of time! No power on earth can change it.
She then disappeared. King Adam ordered every single spinning wheel to be burned that night. No one knows why he ordered this.
Now, let's get back to the story.
Ben’s POV
I was staring out the window looking at the Isle of the Lost. I dont know how mom, dad and Bailey would react to my first proclamation.
Guy- Sleeve. Head.
He turned my head to wear I was facing forward. As soon as he took the measurements off my head I turned my head back to the window.
Dad- How is it possible that you two are gonna be crowned king and queen next month? You’re just babies!
Mom- They're turning 16, dear.
Ben- Hey, Pops.
Bailey- Hi mom, hi dad.
She got up from the couch and gave them a hug.
Dad- Sixteen? That's far too young to be crowned king and queen. I didnt make a good decision until I was at least 42.
Mom- Uh. You decided to marry me at 28.
Dad- It was either you or a teapot.
I chuckled.
Dad- Kidding.
Ben- Mom, Dad, Bailey…
Guy- Ah! Mmm-mmm.
Ben- I’ve chosen my first official proclamation.
Bailey, Mom, and Dad all looked at eachother and I am now scared of how they are going to react.
Ben- I’ve decided that the children on the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon.
After mom dropped my coat, I could tell she didn't like the idea.
Ben- Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they’ve been abandoned.
Dad- The children of our sworn enemies? Living among us?
Ben- We start out with a few at first, only ones who need our help the most. I’ve already chosen them.
Dad- Have you?
Mom- I gave you a second chance. Who are their parents?
Ben- Cruelle De Vil, Jafar, Evil Queen, and Maleficent.
My mom's mouth droppedand covered her mouth and dad got really angry.
Dad- Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!
Ben- Dad, just hear me out here…
Dad- I won't hear of it. They are quilty of unspeakable crimes. And expecially Maleficent, did you forget what she did to Bailey?!
Ben- Dad, their children are innocent. Dont you think they dereve a shot at a normal life?
It was quiet.
Ben- Dad?
Dad thought for a moment.
Dad- I suppose their children are innocent.
He then started to leave but mom stayed behind.
Mom- Well… Well done.
I smiled at her because I think I got my approval.
Mom- Shall we?
She took his arm and left my room.
Bailey was still in my room quiet as a mouse. Probably still shocked about what is going to happen.
Ben- You okay Bails?
Bailey- Yeah, I'm just nervous about this. What if something happens?
Ben- Nothing will happen, I'm sure of it. Now why dont you go to your room and start getting fitted for your dress.
Bailey- Okay.
She then gave me a hug and I returned it. Bailey then left my room and went to hers. I then went back to the window and looked out to the island hoping this was a good idea.
